The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest

My experience at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From its excellent facilities to its prime location, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, with special thanks to Hanadi and the Lounge team for their exceptional service. The breakfast was delightful, and the business lounge left a lasting impression with its impressive amenities. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location of the hotel is perfect and central to many places around the city. The staff is always welcoming and goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable; for example, snacks and desserts are left in the room as a welcome gesture. The food quality and taste are overall good as well. We had a perfect stay in this hotel. Thank you so much for the same!

I felt like being at home…. This is how I can describe our stay at the hotel. Since the arrival, we have been treated with special and extra care, even for the tours, they provided full list of recommendations as printout document arranged for our best convenience. When they knew that my friend was sick, everyday morning during the breakfast and evening they will prepare a warm drink for her (honey, ginger and lemon). The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of most important tourists spots. The staff are supper friendly and supportive. Not to forget mentioning how clean the hotel is. It was such a nice and pleasant experience.

Now this is 5 star luxury!! Absolutely fabulous hotel from.the moment we checked in the staff were so courteous, respectful and so professional. Never failed to greet you no matter the time of day. Always made eye contact. This is absolutely wonderful service. Attention to detail fantastic. Champagne on check in what a fabulous start!! The whole hotel.is steeped in history. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe and it was stunning. Views across the square. We could see the sunrise. The location of the hotel is brilliant, within easy reach of the trains, tram and buses. So easy to see the sights in Budapest. Walked everywhere to fully appreciate iate the architecture of all the buildings. Special thanks to.all the breakfast team who tended to our every need. We had massages and Vera was a great masseur, highly recommend after days of walking and sightseeing. Use the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna to unwind each day. So clean and robes, shampoo etc all provided. Loved the Ritz Carlton, will definitely return.

Wow! The staff is among the best I’ve ever encountered at any Bonvoy or Ritz Carlton Properties world wide and would return in a heartbeat.

The property is very nice, has great food, good amenities, location was perfect for what we needed (relax and a bit a shopping).

The valet and bell hop, concierge, front desk, restaurants, spa, everyone went above and beyond during our stay and we will always choose to come back to Budapest just to see these folks in the future.

Everything was superb from A to Z! Extremely happy with everything, staff are very welcoming and friendly and took care of my kids. I lost my wallet in the restaurant and was surprised they knew it was mine and contacted me directly.

Location is great! Room service/ house keeping was excellent!

I am an American tourist. This is an excellent hotel at a great location and reasonably priced in USD for what you receive.

Great service as usual and good recommendations and help from the concierge.

Truly an amazing property… the staff from the from desk to concierge and house keeping went above and beyond but a special shout out to my friends on the club level. Georgii, Sophie, Veronika and Mariam truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was better than perfect. I will definitely be back to this property because of these 4. Amazing team and people. Truly blessed to have had the opportunity to chat with each one.

The hotel is so beautiful and the location is the best. My room had a view of the park which was amazing. The spa facilities are great and I was even lucky to be all alone, it was really calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice buffet and some a la carte options that are included in the breakfast package. I was a bit disappointed at check-in for minor issues but finally I had a great stay ! They also have a really nice bar but I didn't have the time to try it, I am curious about the "Paprika Margarita". There is also a club lounge which seems very interesting, make sure you book a room who has acces to it. Special thanks to Carlos, who took the time to talk to me during check-out in order to get a feeback of my stay, he was really nice and friendly as some other people of the team who I didn't get the name. I will for sure come back.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of the city. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous, rooms are comfortable and well put together, on top of that it is a great location. Definitely staying here next time in Budapest.

Stayed here with my mom and boyfriend. Initially planned to stay 3 nights but we fell in love with the Budapest and the staff here so we extended a 4th night - huge thank you to the reservation team for modifying our stay last minute and honoring our rates! - We stayed in the Park Suite and had stunning views of the Farris wheel and St. Stephen's Basilica. Beds were 11/10 comfortable and housekeeping came multiple times a day.

From check in to check out, every single employee goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, pampered and extend their gratitude for your business.

We've stayed at several Ritz- Carltons in the US, and this one was by far the best and possibly the best hotel experience we've had to date.

What made our stay extra special was Club Lounge (highly recommend booking a room with Club Access or just straight out purchasing it). The food and drink options are amazing and the pastry chef is incredibly talented. We spent 60% of our stay in the lounge, mostly due to the amazing staff there. Huge shoutout to Mariam, Veronika, Szanolsa, Georgii and ESPECIALLY Zsofia and Hanadi! We didn't ever feel like customers in a hotel lounge, they made us feel like friends at their house. Hanadi told us we should feel like "the lounge is an extension of your hotel room" and it was exactly that.

We will definitely be back to Budapest and when we do we'll be staying here again without question.

Thank you RCBudapest for the perfect stay! My journey to Budapest didn’t have a good start- KLM delayed my luggage in Amsterdam so when I checked in I was not in a very good mood. But the front desk folks were super helpful and really tried to make everything easy for me. Not only they recognized titanium status and offered a glass of champagne at check-in, they gave me so much information and tips on how to get my luggage back the soonest. I ended up going to the airport myself and intercept it before it would have taken forever for the luggage to be delivered, thanks to the hotel staff’s advice. Also, the super handsome bellboys are very friendly and always ready to welcome me back.

The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to all major attractions and main tram stop and main shopping area. I enjoyed going to Rudas every day which is a nice 15min walk across the river. The concierge desk was super helpful. They recommended legenda river cruise which turned out to be a perfect and effortless evening activity!

My room 401 is perfect. It has the city square view. I feel energized every morning! The room is elegantly decorated as usual with orchids! The housekeeping staff was also very attentive. I mentioned the room was a bit cold at night, and they brought me a heater.

The hotel gym and pool are quite nice. Pool is a bit small but very beautiful. Spa area also very nice and pleasant! I wish I had more time to spend in the beautiful spa! The only massage therapist was fully booked so if you want to pamper yourself be sure to book in advance!

We had an AMAZING stay at the Ritz Carlton Budapest. From the beginning, we were greeted with kindness & professionalism.

Sára checked us in to our room and made sure to let us know of all facilities available to us. She checked in on us any time we passed by the front desk to make sure our stay was perfect - she is a great representative of the Ritz Carlton. A true gem!!

She passed us along to Gergó who was an absolute joy of a human and really took the time to get to know us and showed us to our room. They had decorated it for our anniversary. We had gotten in very late, but they managed to bring a tear to my eye with the care they had taken and the genuine kind spirit. Gergó was always smiling and we saw him navigate some less than friendly guests and manage to get them to smile too.

We asked Atocha (we didn’t quite catch how to write his name) at concierge the first morning if he could recommend a nice restaurant for us. He said Déryné, and offered to make us a reservation. It worked out for the last evening of our stay and all we can say is WOW! We said that we wanted a romantic restaurant with an upscale, yet upbeat vibe. And this delivered! We LOVED it! He also made great recommendations for other attractions and helped to secure our tickets for the Parlament building. We wished we could thank him for the great restaurant choice, but we let Gergó know to tell him as we checked out.

The staff in the bar were all so kind and attentive! The young lady was always quick to get us popcorn, and the two bartenders (who were both so friendly!!) made amazing drinks and provided great service.

We have been blessed enough to stay at a number of Ritz properties, but this was an absolute standout as the best we’ve experienced. We will come back to this hotel and will be sure recommend this hotel to others because our time over 4 nights was beyond expectations. We simply cannot find anything that could have been done to make our stay better - it was perfect!! Keep up the great work!

I loved my stay here. I will admit that the rooms aren't as nice as I expected (although still very above average) and the towels they gave me were slightly frayed, but the level of service was exceptional and the spa was an incredible treat. The Club Lounge was wonderful and the food and service there was top notch. Sadly the bar was closed my entire stay for a private event, although it was dark and quiet every time I passed by it so I'm not sure why it wasn't open when not being used for the private event.

My checkin was horrible, I think a new person who had never done checking before helped me- all he did was the paperwork and give me my key. No, “Welcome to Budapest” or “Welcome to the Ritz” or anything. Did not even offer me the Prosecco that all the other people that were checking in received. I knew nothing. Not where the elevators were, nothing about the hotel, breakfast, checkout, absolutely nothing. I was shocked. I went upstairs, put my things away and returned to the front desk. The person that helped me was no longer there and I told the desk I was given my key and that was it. What time was breakfast, what does this hotel have to offer, etc etc. The person I spoke with, Charles, did an absolutely wonderful job of redeeming the Ritz for me. I am still curious who the first guy was that helped me- he didn’t seem like a fit for anything bonvoy related, but the rest of the staff I encountered during my stay was beyond delightful and super helpful and welcoming.

What a wonderfull hotel! Staff is amazing! Rooms are so nice! Love the location since it’s very close to a lot of places can walk to most places. A great place to stay.

We stayed at the Ritz Budapest for 4 nights and LOVED everything about this property. We were on the club level and the staff took so much pride in their service. The chef, Sophie, made us eggs every morning and added some special Hungarian ingredients which were delicious. Georgii, the manager, helped with dinner reservations and was always checking to see if we needed anything. Sunshine, Zsofia, Hanadi and Veronika were also very attentive - they all made us feel like we were special. We enjoyed the staff in the club so much that we didn't go to the other restaurants in the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at this property - check in was fast and the concierge helped plan many of our excursions, which was extremely helpful. The bellmen assisted in hailing cabs and transportation to our cruise dock - fantastic service all the way around!
