It is a small but efficient post office. The clerks are polite and try to be helpful. I had good experiences so far. Don't understand why other reviews are so negative. I am local and go here often. So does my wife who does not speak Hungarian. I did not experience any of the negatives mentioned by others. The place is definitely not dimly lit or reeking. The service is not slow but you may have to queue at busier times like you have to do at all post offices. The clerks may chitchat with elderly people and locals they know. It does not slow down things too much and I find it charming. It is a local post office and people from the neighbourhood go there. People know each other and will say hello and may exchange a few words which may not be strictly related to the purpose of their visit. If you find this intolerable, I don't know what to tell you.

A kind lady guided me where to buy stamps.

very friendly stuff, they did everything to help even that they couldn't speak english. it's better to go in the morning at 8 since it will be empty and fast.

There is a very cheerful lady here who speaks English and advised against a binder clip for my international tax return and gave me a paperclip instead ☺

Although this is a fairly small post office and can get quite busy and waiting for a postal worker who speaks English can sometimes be impractical.
