Budapest 5 Post Office

We got a parking ticket we needed to pay but all the documentation we got was in Hungarian and Google Translate didn't help. A very kind lady helped us fill everything out properly. Thank you!

Get a number (you can change the language to english on the machine, since you have to select what you're there for), wait a few minutes, go to the right counter. The man helping me spoke english, no problems, was done fast and well

If you collect stamps or need some for post cards this is the place to go.

One efficient post office. Take a number, wait, approach, state your deal, get it done. 10 min from entry to posting a letter (arguably, a sample size of one [1] visits, so might not be reliable ;-).

It was the first time in Hungary a post lady made me smile. Why? Because she actually smiled at me first! What a pleasant and unexpected occurrence! I was ready with the necessary Hungarian phrase on Google translate, and she spoke enough English to make this a smooth transaction.

Surprisingly fast, decent friendliness and good rates to Mail stuff abroad

I had EXCELLENT service. The waiting time (I was there twice today) was minimal, 3 minutes the first time 1 minute (!!) the second time. The young man was polite knowledgeable and fast. THANK YOU for the good service!!

If you need to use any postal services, do not hesitate going to this office. I needed to send a 15 kilo parcel to Ukraine. The office opened sharp at 8 am. At the entry, you take a ticket for the queue based on the type of service needed (the machine has the English option). I did not have to wait for too long. The post office clerk was helpful, spoke basic English, gave me the price estimate, and sold me a needed box.

I returned later with the packed box: the same clerk helped me tape up the box, gave me clear instructions on the required paperwork. I was able to pay with a credit card. Fast, professional, and to the point.

Very good staff with English knowledge. I went there to post an international package for first time. The staff were helpful about it.

Sometimes it can be long, but the staff is efficient and english-friendly. I came many time and they always took the time to explain what are the different options for a shipping.

When you walk in, use the little machine to the right of the entrance (it translates into English), pick what service you need. Take the ticket number, and check for your number to be called and which counter to approach.

Then simply hand the ticket to the postal worker and they will help you! Nice people and they make it dead easy.

Today (21.12.2020) I just visited this post office to post some package.
As a COVID-19 situation, only few peoples were allowed inside the office and we have to wait outside of the office until we get a place to go inside (As I can see this because of covid which is totally fine).
About the customer service (Really I want to appreciate Peter in counter 10 for his nice customer service👌) he provided all the information which I needed👏.

I needed to send a bunch of souvenirs to my country by EMS. A woman at the counter #14 was very helpful & fluent in English. Everything was done in 15 mins. No complaints there.

I bought some stamps in this Post Office, and the lady at the Stamp Store was incredibly nice with me. I recommend this place if you have to buy stamps.

I used the service to send a parcel internationally and it took me 10 mins all in all . Loved the service. Staff speaks communicative English and they were very nice.

A huge post office, which opened until 8pm. You need to take ticket to stay on line for service. Helpful stuff. They spoke English and very friendly
