Nice and cozy restaurant :) friendly staff, great service and awesome food! There is also a great atmosphere thanks to a musician who play accordion. If you’re in the area, you have to come here!

It is an old place, with a long history and many fish-dishes on the menue.
They still do everything by hand, so no mirelit, which is the case in many places nowadays.
And the wife can get her special order from the kitchen - no BS about "it is not in the computer", as the case with the neighboring places.
Not a fancy, modern place where you will find any famous people, just good food.

This place was a nice surprise. We arrived very late in the area and were hungry, with only this place still open. We hoped the food would be ok, but it was actually quite good. Better Viener schnitzel than a lot of places in Viena.

Really romantic and traditional restaurant. They have really delicious food with big portions for a very good price.
The menu is in Hungarian, English and German. The staff was really friendly and we even had someone play the accordion.
It's a bit outside the city center but easy to reach by tram or bus.

I came here 6 Years ago and now I visited again last month. No regrets! I ordered the Németvölgyi pacsni ( I had it last time and had to order again) and it is so delicious! You have to try it!

Absolutely fantastic. The pork hock with fried potatoes was absolutely spectacular. One of my favourite restaurants in Budapest.

Authentic Hungarian food. We went on a Saturday evening and enjoyed some lovely musical accompaniment with our delicious food. Wonderful home-cooked traditional Hungarian dishes. Really enjoyed the fish soup and the pike with asparagus. Delicious puddings. Helpful and kind service. Loved it so much. Köszönöm szépen!

Good but old style place as the menu and service. These are, and the FISH SOUP why we love it. A really good traditional Hungarian restaurant.

Beautiful garden setting under old trees. Hugh menu. Good service. Weat beer available in tap. That's my favourite place.

Tremendous find. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, kind staff, authentic menu, lovely garden. Add the gentlemen playing the accordion as the sun set, and you have it all.
