A homey neighbourhood tavern serving traditional Hungarian dishes. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the food selection included some more unique dishes, such as duck liver and calf's feet.

A small and nicely decorated Restaurant in Buda. It has very tasty dishes of Hungarian cuisine. The place is very clean and plays modern music. The service is very good and the staff very kind. The prices are affordable. We took their Hungarian goulash and pork soup with melted cheese. I recommend it to you!

This is my new favorite restaurant in Budapest. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and professional, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very close to all the tourist spots on the Pest side of the city, and frankly, I don't understand why people would eat at the tourist traps on top of the hill. This restaurant is at the bottom of the hill, a short walk from the castle on top. The menu includes several languages (I used the English pages), but all the food is traditional Hungarian cuisine.

The food is amazing, staff and owner are super friendly and hospitable to tourists! The portions are generous and the taste is superb. A definitely must eat restaurant after a long walk to the Buda Castle. The duck is so tender and crispy steak is huge and flavorful.

Kind of discovered this place on accident but we were pleasantly surprised. VERY nice owners, the best hospitality we’ve seen in Budapest which I know doesn’t say much, but the service here is good and I’m used to Japanese and American food service. Food was good as well and affordable. Nice interior design as well, cozy.

We took chicken stew and egg gnocchi and beef steak with potatoes. The food was superb! The taste was good, and a very good portion was presented. The service was also good and the waiter was very friendly. Its location is also very nice.

The perfect place to stop by especially when you have walked up the Citadel and you are heading towards the Fisherman’s Bastion. Very delicious Hungarian traditional food. I had a Goulash soup and a beef goulash stew. Great service!

Fantastic place to enjoy tradicional homemade Hungarian food. The menu has a good variety of options, including several meat and fish options. Service was also very good, the staff really cares about customers. The food was fresh and well cooked, and everything we ordered was good. Also I would like to add that the portions are big and the staff had no problems arranging so we could share and avoid to pay too much and waste food.

My friend and I were looking for authentic traditional Hungarian food while in Budapest when we stumbled upon this place, and I have to say, this absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. The hostess was incredibly nice with great service, while the food and house wine were some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the beef goulash and it was so good, I finished and ordered an appetizer AFTER the main course. Highly recommend eating here!

Great place, quite local. The schnitzel was great and the duck was even better. The desserts were wonderful, do not be afraid to try the chestnut cream and the Gosser pancake. Good prices, super cozy atmosphere. One of the best in Budapest!

Ver nice place and good food at very reasonable prices. Mushrooms were something really special. The red house wine we were recommended was very good as well. Do not hesitate to get in!!8

Their crispy duck is so good, the best dish for my stay so far, and it is my third day here already. There are lots of local customers eating here, that tells something. It is a much try restaurant if you visit Budapest. I highly recommend it. And it is not that expensive either!

Huge portions and very attentive personal. The place is in Buda part. We reserved it 5 hours previously at phone and everything was perfect.
The waiter recommended us their special plates and asked us many times if everything was good or we needed something.
For starter plates we tried Hungarian tartare and it was delicious like main courses also.
Good design and not many people! Very cosy!

The food was very nice. There are a lot of dishes that you expect to see on the menu, and while the place have a very clear Italian flavour, the local food is done very well. Very welcoming and friendly. Prices are also good.

The 5 portuguese people loved eat here. The food and the wine were delicious, the owner very nice. We saved the adress for next year. If you don´t want to eat in the middle of tourist this is a nice and calm restaurant.
