Café Royal

This restaurant is severely underrated. They changed ownership and changed the menu and it’s absolutely delightful. I have been here twice now and my friends and I ordered the same things twice it was so good. Collectively we have tried the lamb, eggplant, filet, duck, black risotto, and scallops. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!! 10/10 recommend. Lovely atmosphere and amazing service. Pricey, but worth it.

Best American style breakfast we've had over two weeks in Europe. My daughter loved the avocado toast, which is served with poached eggs. The pancakes are very worth it, too, and come plain or with bananas or blueberries. Pastries are excellent. Coffee and tea are both top notch. Outdoor seating is available in good weather, which I recommend. This is located on a square in Old Town with great people watching and a farmers market on weekdays.

The food here is amazing. I had an amazing food experience coming here. I came to Dubrovnik for vacation from Toronto and the food made me say wow. I ordered the mushroom risotto and the chocolate lava cake and really enjoyed it. I actually went back a few days later and ordered the same thing again.

Restaurant Royal is cosy and looks expensive from the outside. But it's indeed a great value for money especially for their set menu by Old Town, Dubrovnik standard. We had a Meat Menu and Fish Menu which came in a 3 course meal. No compromise in terms of food quality, portion and attentive service (esp Viktorin)A Must for all visitors to Dubrovnik.

The waiter was really nice and professional. The food was served really fast and it was amazing! The prices were acceptable.The overall experience was great. I would highly recommend.😊

Bought the Vegan burger for lunch and needed it take away as I needed to get my toddler back to the apartment. They were super understanding and helpful and was served immediately.

The hostess and our waitress were exceptionally Friendly, professional and helpful to make our dining experience a very good one

Das Cafe Royal ist zwar etwas hochpreisig aber auch sehr gut. Wir hatten einmal das Oster Menü, die Tortellini mit Trüffel und die Lammhaxe. Der Service war fix und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir waren zufrieden.

Restaurant très agréable, une spécialité intéressante est le gâteau de Dubrovnik un gâteau au citron et aux noisettes, excellent !
Plusieurs vin au verre sont proposés.
