Restaurant Marco Polo

We had a delicious dinner at Marco Polo, hidden away in the old town, you feel relaxed and calm enjoying your meal.

Our waiter was so friendly and discussed the menu and wine with us, and the food was some of the best fish I’ve had.

We paid €180 for two starters, two mains, oysters, bottle of wine, and two cocktails. Reasonable given the quality !

We had a wonderful dinner at Marco Polo. Everything was great! The place, the wine and the food was amazing! The staff was really friendly, especially Ranko, who was really nice and gave great recommendations!

We would recommend the Tuna main dish with sesame and the brocheta!

Book in advance as it gets really busy!

A superb little restaurant located in a small courtyeard. The squid salat and their fresh oysters was just that - fresh and tasty. The tuna and the duck was super tasty and with a twist. Thank you for the superb service, and getting us a table last minut (thank you especially Ranko and Amar)

We had our best meal in Dubrovnik here. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we thought that we would try it out. We hadn't booked, but fortunately, there had been a cancellation. We were well looked after by Rocco, who knew the menu in depth and made a number of recommendations. The wine that he suggested to accompany the meal was perfect too. The Precious Blue, Adriatic Tuna, was cooked to perfection. But we were blown away by the Monkfish Wellington. The taste and texture were amazing, and we would definitely recommend both of these dishes.
There is a nice quiet atmosphere here, considering you are in the middle of Dubrovnik. I would whole heartedly recommend Restaurant Marco Polo.

Delicious tunas in sesame crust : perfectly cooked ! , very fresh oysters and a very refreshing lemon curd cake : everything was really tasty and the service very welcoming : I totally recommand !!

We dropped in for a late lunch without a reservation, but the staff were happy to accommodate us. We had oysters to start and then ordered the seared tuna and pork belly... Both were incredible. We've been travelling around the Western Balkans for the last 5 weeks and my husband thinks this is the best food he's had on the trip so far. Would whole heartedly recommend. We had a lovely server, too, who dug out an infant chair for our 10 month old son.
P.s. make sure you try the homemade olive oil. You will not regret it!

Marco Polo is an excellent, quiet, peaceful restaurant. The host, Ranko was fabulous and an enjoyable conversationalist. His knowledge of the food and subsequent recommendations were delightful. If you are in the "old town" Dubrovnik area, definitely make it a point to stop and enjoy a meal at Marco Polo.

We got this restaurant recommended in micheline guide app. It has a unique flair, since it's directly in the labyrinth of narrow streets in Dubrovnik. The waiter was not only friendly but very helpful with recommendations regarding food and wine. The porkbelly was extraordinary good. Meat very juice and tender. Everything from compliment to dessert was nice. When you ask, you'll get cherry brandy from family's recipe. Delicious

It is just beautiful! The atmosphere is great, service is nothing short of amazing and food is to die for. We had a steak ( cooked to an absolute perfection) and monkfish wellington and would very highly recommend! So so tasty. Would return again and again as they turned a good night into a great one!

Intimate setting and atmosphere. Great location in the old town. Make sure you make a reservation and hang onto the email. Ranko served us and made several great recommendations! I hope you’re lucky enough to get him. Don’t miss out on this place!

Amazing service and delicious food! We enjoyed our evening at Marco Polo Cuisine. As starters we had Dalmatian Prosciutto with fig jam and Octopus Carpaccio. As main Lava stone Beefsteak and “Precious blue” Tuna steak. Beautiful!

We had a beautiful dining experience - every dish was beyond our expectation and we throughouly enjoyed the meal. Flavours were perfect and portions were just the right size. Amar was a wonderful guide and looked after us the entire time. Would highly recommend this place for a great night out in Dubrovnik!

Delicious and fresh food, and very generous sizes for the starters. We definitely over ordered, but everything was amazing!

Quiet little restaurant that took us without a reservation. Extremely attentive server who gave us little vials of carrot soup to try. I had a baked cheese and black risotto and both were delicious. Would highly recommend for seafood.

Beautiful cozy setting and wonderful meal. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. I had pasta with shrimp and mushroom appetizer and the steak. We shared many dishes among 5 people and they were all VERY good. Roko was an awesome attentive waiter, served us his homemade cherry brandy and played our requested songs. Highly recommend!!

The absolute best restaurant to go to. The private and intimate atmosphere combined with the amazing food and rock star service made this an unforgettable experience. Our server Roko was perfect! He was patient, funny, and kind. He made excellent recommendations based on what our group wanted. I’d go back to this place time and time again. I had the tuna tartar for a starter and the pork belly as a main, id happily get both again. Cheer to Roko and cheers to Marco Polo! Five stars!

We found this restaurant following Google review. This is absolutely a pleasant surprise to us! We ordered "nearly carbonara" as starter, and this tastes soooooo good in that the bacon was just as crispy as needed (not more, not less), and that the taste champs a real carbonara even tho the cream is not made from egg yolk but sweet potato sauce(which is as tasty and even healthier!!). The 24 PORK Belly is definitely worthwhile trying for meat lover!! Crispy skin and soft meat 😭 The fried squids and chips are also difference from regular fried sea food, here, they are crunchy but not oily. The lemon tart is fresh, nice, and stylish!! So good this restaurant exists that it saves me from the tiredness by all the touristy restaurants. The chef and waiters here really do care about food.
