Lovely place to get some delicious seafood burgers in a very friendly place. It's in the old town, in the middle of an alleyway and is crowded at most times. So you might have to wait for some time.

But the wait is worth it as the Burgers were great at relatively inexpensive pricing, compared to the food prices that we saw in Dubrovnik.

I would advise against the Shrimp burger and wholeheartedly approve the Octopus one.

Nice little shop for a snack meal( street food style) you can have can beer and burger or deep fried small fish, squid.

Love the friendly service. The waitress is super smiley and helpful, they speak very good English.

The price is Dubrovnik old town price by the way. A bit higher but acceptable with super nice staff.

The most recommended restaurant in Old Town. The fried octopus is fresh, delicious and affordable!
We have tried other mid to high end restaurants in this inch of the world, but this one gave me the best feeling, decorated with forks painted by tourists from all over the world. The locally produced oysters were excellent, great fresh and fried. The quantity was so large that we had to pack fried fish to take back to our room. The only problem was that there was a huge queue because it was so good.

Highly recommend the octopus burger and octopus salad. Salad contained tomatoes, capers, onions and of course boiled octopus. It was refreshing, sauce was not over whelming. The tuna sandwich is my least favorite. Attendant was very engaging, speak good English and explained the menu and provided honest recommendation. Quite small place but we there on good timing and able to sit comfortably. mobile signal inside store is weak. Table and chairs are comfortable enough. Store design if so approriate for the food.

The ‘Squid + side dish’ (i.e. Squid tempura with potato salad) was delicious and my favourite item on the menu by far (While the squid is the highlight, don’t sleep on the potato salad!). The sardines are crisp, and the burgers are fun as well.
The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and interesting.
Be prepared to wait a while outside the restaurant at peak times. At least you’ll be waiting on a beautiful street in Dubrovnik!

Great stop to eat lunch/dinner in the old town. You need to wait in the queue to be seated, there's also an alternative for take-away. The portions were quite large, we were aiming for a small meal but it ended up as our main dinner of the day, which was a pleasant surprise. Very climatic place for some deep-fried seafood!

Really great place to enjoy some local fast food style sea food. We had the fried calamari, prawns and fish. Tasted great and had good beer as well. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The fries are also really crunchy as well.

Barba has one of the best atmosphere in the town. Don’t forget to leave decorated fork if you visit.

Must try the fried oysters. One of the best around. Octopus burger was average but loved the fries. Love the space, small and cosy.

Fish Fast Food. Wonderful service in this small resturant. Serving sizes are generous. You can have a glass of wine also. Our fried & natural oyster were very good. We shared the Small Fish plate it was delicious & filling, sevred with potato salad or french fries.

Great idea for a fish fast food. Ideal for someone who likes fresh fish and seafood, but doesn't want to spend time and big money in classic restaurants. The food was fresh and really delicious. Seats are few, but that's not even the point of this fast food place. You don't wait long and the food you order is packed to go. You can enjoy it anywhere else and enjoy the beauty of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. It's a pity there aren't more of these fish fast food places in Dubrovnik.

I totally loved this place! Only had indoor seating for 11-12, but since we were there in the slow season (March), there was no problem with seating. Food was fun and so tasty. You order at the register and the food was out, hot and fresh, in about 10 minutes. You eat with little wooden forks that you can decorate with markers and stick along the chair molding or on the light fixtures. I know that sounds crazy, but it was fun to do. Also, I usually don't care for French fries but these were light, crispy, and nice and hot. They are famous for their octopus burgers, and huge charcuterie board of bar trash but we didn't try those.

A small street food/sea food restaurant, a gem in one of Dubrovnik's narrow streets. I came here once in April and I was delighted with everything. Pleasant ambience, friendly service and very tasty food. Now I was coming with my girlfriend, who was craving for a small fish and I knew that this was the right place in Dubrovnik for that. All our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely come back to eat here with every visit to Dubrovnik. Don't miss this place.

Tried an octopus burger which was quite good. The restaurant is quite small and cramped so I had a takeaway when I went back to try their octopus salad and fried small fish. This was very tasty and good value at 14 euros each. I enjoyed it so much I ordered it again a couple of days later.
Service was prompt and friendly.
Portions were a good size but don't be fooled by my photo as there is lettuce lining the bottom of the fish container to prevent it from getting greasy.

Five stars is surely not enough because this little place is amazing! It is situated in a very picturesque street, the food is tasty and people working there are SO nice! Service is quick, everything from the menu is awesome. I highly recommend going there - oysters are out of this world and they even serve fried ones! Burgers are big and filled with amazing ingredients, and small fish- they taste like heaven especially paired with potato salad! If you are in Dubrovnik - go there and eat everything, so worth it!

The most unique and delicius little restaurant. It was extremely bussy, but the staff still made us feel very welcome. The oysters (family grown) was excellent, and the squid burger was worth our trip - so moist and tasty😀

We especially loved the fried squid and the octopus burger. Get the shared plate to try some of everything! Great service, staff is super friendly. Relatively cheap eats - recommended!!!

A "must" of Dubrovnik. Almost in front of Placa street in the heart of the old city, this place serves great seafood experience. Highlights the Octopus burger and Octopus sandwich. Great onion rings and French fries as well.
The staff were very friendly and food was served very quickly.
Don't miss the chance to visit it and enjoy your food in one of the many stairs.

The place is amazingly good…love the fried small fish and the calamari (fried squid)…plus the side of their fries and potatoes salad. The price is just right for the food. The service is quick and the staffs are amiable.

I saw this place in Somebody Feed Phill. If Phill enjoyed their food so much, so should we was the reason why we went here 😂 And he was right, the food was delicious! It is comfort food so people shouldn’t expect luxury but especially because it’s comfort food, I felt like this is the only place that’s actually real and not a tourist trap in the old city of Dubrovnik.
Bare in mind that there will be a queue. Even if not, it’s most likely that there are people in the waiting list. We went there, put our name down and came back in 15 mins then sat down at a table so all in all it was really smooth and 15 mins of strolling in beautiful Dubrovnik was nothing bothersome.
We ordered the platter which was deffo too much for us lol You’d better be super hungry for that to finish it all but the food was absolutely delicious. My favourite was the deep fried small fish. It was perfectly seasoned. The sauce for dipping shrimps was also tasty. Really recommended!
