Fantastic little coffee and ice cream stop, tucked away between the city wall and buildings. Wonderful array of ice cream flavours and excellent service. Definitely recommended for a break while on your adventures around the city!

Gianni, nestled within Dubrovnik's enchanting old city, is a delightful haven for ice cream aficionados. Their array of flavors is nothing short of a taste bud symphony. From the tantalizing goat cheese and blackberry to the classic chocolate and velvety hazelnut, each scoop is a revelation. The white chocolate with cookie strawberry and the unique lavanda honey flavors are equally splendid. Portions here are generous, ensuring satisfaction with every order, all at reasonable prices.

Delicious handmade ice creams! Staff is friendly and you can taste a spoon before choosing. We took basil coconut (very refreshing!) and pistachio.. both were excellent !

We had cappuccino and cafe latte here while it suddenly rained(raining season in November) , nice seating in the small alley. Lovely place for a small break. Toilet inside available for guests.

Would really recommend this spot. Vegan and allergy friendly and simply delicious. They have very good Croatian coffee (cogito I think), they have almond milk. They also had a raw vegan cake - cashew berry mousse on a coconut base, incredible. Other cakes looked amazing and most of them very gluten-free. We haven’t tried their gelato but it looked really good and they have some vegan sorbets. English speaking staff.

Enjoyed some fresh flavors, like coconut&basil or lemon&ginger. And personal favorite, a goat milk gelato which was divine.
The person serving us was so kind and attentive, her alone would bring me back here. But that amazing gelato….highly recommend.

This is the best ice cream I’ve had in Croatia in 3 weeks here. Much better than Aroma. Maybe the best anywhere. I had the Dubrovnik Orange and the Lemon/Ginger Sorbet, both incredible.

Edit: it was so good I went back later. Their coconut basil and their whisky is amazing as well.

Amazing ice cream and sorbet right next to the wall. Bottles of drinks are also available from the fridge which is a great pick up for those really hot days! There's also a toilet in here that customers can use which is another helpful thing while visiting this area.

Great ice cream. The taste and texture are perfect, and the flavour combinations unforgettable in their simplicity. They also make some great sweets, and they have a sitting area.

Truly incredible ice-cream spot, no wonder why it’s so advised by people! It reminded me a bit of Italian taste, creamy and so tasty. I recommend to try the wild orange 🍊- it was my favorite flavor! Also, I liked the vanilla and honey with lavender - great flavors! Come and try.

Artisan ice cream in an alley near the Palace. The orange ice cream with bits of candied orange peel was my favourite - tasted the whisky brownie ice cream, pistachio ice cream, and goat cheese blackberry ice cream too. You can ask to taste the ice cream. They have clean tables and chairs to sit down while you enjoy your ice cream, and a bonus are the very nice free toilets and basins you can use inside the shop.

The coconut basil sorbet was delicious. It tasted like coconut water and had fresh bits of basil in it. We also got a chocolate cake which was heavenly and very rich in chocolate flavor workout being too sweet. Without a doubt the best gelato in town.

We indulged in the brownie with ice cream, gelato, and lemon tart, and each bite was a heavenly delight. The brownie was perfectly moist, complemented by velvety ice cream. The gelato's flavors were rich and authentic, and the lemon tart had just the right balance of zesty and sweet.

The staff's kindness and attentiveness made our visit even more memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. Gianni's is a must-visit in Dubrovnik, and we can't wait to return for another delightful dessert experience!

The best gelato and pastries shop in old town Dubrovnik. A must stop. Excellent service. Recommended.

Best gelato we have ever had! This was part of our Dubrovnik Old Town Food Tour (which was amazing, by the way!) and it was hands down everyone's favorite dessert of the trip. Gianni was so personable and friendly-- you can tell he is an expert! Must try!

One of the best gelato shops we tried in Croatia. Unique and decadent gelato flavors! They do also sell cakes that are surprisingly tasty and not too sweet for my liking. Also when we ordered tiramisu for takeaway, the lady staff trusted us to return the glass once we’re done and it immediately won my heart cause of this trust in each other. Amazing experience, I wish I could have ordered more during our stay so it’s definitely a must try!!!
