We had an amazing visit to the blue cave. We were lucky enough to be taken by a local, who took us there before it got busy.
The entrance is small, and hard to spot, but it looks worse than it is, and we were able to access it with relative ease.
It's very dark as you enter the cave, but when you turn to face the exit it fills with a magical blue light.
If you're in the area then it's worth visiting here

"Embarking on an adventure to the Blue Caves on the island of Koločep in Croatia is a journey that takes you into a realm of unparalleled beauty and natural wonder. These caves are more than just geological formations; they're portals to a world where the sea and the sky blend in a symphony of blue hues.

As you approach the first cave, the anticipation is palpable. The vibrant blue waters that greet you as you enter are a visual feast that ignites the senses. The interplay of sunlight on the water creates a captivating display of colors that's nothing short of enchanting.

Venturing deeper into the caves, the beauty deepens. The ethereal quality of the blue hues, the way the water seems to glow from within, and the peacefulness of the surroundings envelop you in a sense of calm and wonder. It's as if you're immersed in a surreal underwater dreamscape, where the outside world fades away.

One of the most captivating aspects of the Blue Caves is the sense of connection with nature. The stillness of the water, the echoes of the waves, and the serenity of the environment create a moment of tranquility that's rare to find. Whether you're floating in the azure waters or simply gazing at the beauty around you, there's a profound sense of being part of something greater.

The experience of visiting the Blue Caves is not just about sightseeing; it's about creating memories that last a lifetime. The chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters within the caves, to bask in the beauty of the surroundings, and to feel a sense of awe in the presence of nature's artistry is an adventure that's as enriching as it is unforgettable.

In summary, the Blue Caves on the island of Koločep in Croatia are a testament to the wonders that the natural world holds. We visit the blue caves with a bit we rented in old town (great value for money), and loved the experience. Swim at the ocean, snorkel in the caves, visit the nearby white sand beach... Went with kids which makes it a Tripp both adults and kids can enjoy. Additionally you get to see the old town walls from sea!!

A very nice cave but only worth going when it's not crowded! Otherwise there are plenty of other ones to visit.
Was lucky to visit at sunset and had to cave to myself.

A beautiful place, unusual and magical. The sun coming through the entrance offers an outstanding spectacle. Beware of the low roof- you've got to crouch a bit, but it's all wort it! The rocky vicinity of the cave is also impressive!

Loved the cave and the color. There are so many boats ⚓. We could not anchor close to the cave. We had to swim for 10 minutes to get to the cave ...dodging multiple boats.

The Blue Cave was a great experience. Definitely worth making sure to visit during low tied as that meant I was able to take my 5 and 7 year old in since the water level was below the entrance. Once inside, the cave lives ups to its name and the amount of light reflected is very impressive. If you vist during rougher weather be prepared that it can be quite hard work getting to the entrance and not being bashed about the rocks

It is the water that is impressive, the cave itself is nothing overly impressive, but the colour of the water is something else. Visited by Jet Ski, was was a little expensive but a great experience! Thank you Aqua Sport!

Well worth doing
