Lapad Restaurant

Enjoyed our meal here. Short walk from Hotel Vis, behind Lapad Beach. Busy area with many bar and dining options. We were part of a large group, but no problem ordering or having our meals arrive. Indoor dining room, or a partly covered outdoor terrace.

Loved this place. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was great especially the meat platter for 2. So much meat and cooked to perfection over the wood burning grill.

We came here when the restaurant was quite full, it was very busy and perhaps overfilled however the staff handled this really well and made sure everyone got their food. Very nice staff and atmosphere.

We ordered Ćevapčići and Fish Platter for two. The Ćevapčići was soft and bouncy, like a texture I had never had before. It came with a lot of kebabs and was filling. Very delicious and nice with the chips. The fish platter was amazing. The tuna was perfectly cooked and soft. Excellent portion size. The calamari was crispy and delicious with an excellent texture. The grilled fish was also perfectly cooked and the vegetables were surprisingly good as well, paired nicely with the grilled fish. Everything on the plate was great and I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing food, service and vibe. The waiters were really accommodating for our large group and were happy to split the bill for us. The food was FRESH and delicious. Seeing the woodgrill being used in front of us was a great touch. The food was delicious and they have a great variety on the menu.

Came here by chance as everywhere around was full..... AND MY GOD what a great situation because this was better than I'd have ever thought. Regardless of price (which was low) this is some of the best food you can get in croatia. Amazing. Also can't review this without mentioning our amazing server, who was chill and calm and lovely during a really busy night. Hvala!

This Restaurant is amazing! Not only is the food excellent but also the waiters are super friendly! If you visit Dubrovnik i can only recommend going here.

Very good grilled meats and seafood. Pictures show the stuffed pork with bacon and the sausages. Amazing and massive variety of salads and soup (not pictured). Dinner was cooked outside in a wood-fired oven.

Great portions. Prices were reasonable for Dubrovnik (20€-25€ platters & 5-15€ small plates / salads).

We didn’t try the grilled octopus or tuna but they looked wonderful. Honestly, just take a walk by the grill to see what looks good before you order. Will be back.

We were eight people on our second evening in Dubrovnik heading to this restaurant by coincidence. After a good, but super expensive dinner in the old part of the city the night before, this was a quite pleasant surprise! We had mixed grill plates and various appetizers. Good value for the money for sure and a very attentive, friendly and professional service! I will swing by again, should I happen to be in Dubrovnik again.

Nice chill restaurant in Dubrovnik.
They serve both meats and seafood and a wide selection of wine. Had some prawns with rocket as a starter and ribs for main dish.
They have a charcoal grill in the back that gives a very nice smell and atmosphere.
The ribs where super good, with a crispy outside and soft -fall of the bone inside.
Highly recommended restaurant.
A big plus is that they are dog friendly

After five days in Dubrovnik, we’ve had the best food experience in this restaurant so far.
Octopus salad was perfect, mixed Croatian grill executed very well with tasty ajvar.
Great succulent spicy burger, with the chips meeting the Irish standards :).
House red was inferior, you have to choose from the wine menu.
Staff was attentive and accommodating.
All that said, thinking to go back and try other dishes.

Amazing dining experience. The food was delicious and beautifully decorated, especially the octopus salad. Service was even better, we were a party of twelve with four little kids who were not the ideal guests, but the waiters were extremely patient and polite. Apsolutely would recommend.

The restaurant was very busy yesterday with large parties and service a bit slow but the waiter was very apologetic and the food was definitely worth the wait. It was fantastic! I had the stuffed pork loin and my other half had the tuna steak. Great quality food! Would recommend.

Very good grill food! We had mixed grilled meat and vegetables - a plate for 2 but served 4 people very well. Selfmademan bread and fresh Greek salad. Was amazing!

Absolut top the the price. Meat and grill is amazing. Starters are good. Waiters are nice and friendly. Can only recommend to visit this place!

We’re 5 days in Dubrovnik. We ate in the old city plenty times and left disappointed .Do your self a favour and come eat here. The staff was very kind. The food was delicious, especially the traditional meat dish. 10/10!!

Food was great, staff were nice, prices were good. We got the seafood platter for two, and got a basket of bread as well, which was nice. The seafood platter was a good price, diverse and tasted great!

The restaurant was quite full, so the staff were pretty flat out, so there was a little wait on food, and receiving our second drinks, but it wasn't too bad.

Would definitely recommend, it had a very relaxed atmosphere

This is the second perfect experience here at Lapad Restaurant. They even recognised and comped a local drink to welcome us back. Had the AMAZING meat platter last time, this time the equally AMAZING fish platter. Staff and service were perfect. As you can see we can see and smell the wood grill! Brilliant experience

This place is awesome! Ribeye was good quality, well cooked and absolutely massive. The mix grill was great if you can’t decide what to get! You get a bit of everything and all of it is delicious. I especially liked the veel. I got “a glass” of the house red wine, this is roughly 1 and 3/4 glasses of wine, comes in a little jug and is delicious.

Be aware the mains could serve 2 people, if I were to go again I’d skip lunch!

The only thing that came across sort of tourist trappy was the price for ketchup and butter €2 and €4 respectively…. A little shady if you ask me but hey everything else checked out!

Really good grilled meat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable what was in their food and adapted the meals to make it gluten free and allergen friendly.
