This place is absolute perfection. When we arrived, the hotel had sparkling rosé waiting at a congratulations for our honeymoon. The room views are impeccable. The pool views are to die for. The service top notch. The breakfast is wonderfully delicious. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location overlooking the Adriatic. All of the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There are 2 infinity pools with great views over the sea and although it’s not a large hotel there are always plenty of staff on hand who will cater to your every need. When you go out in the evening, upon your return you will find that the curtains in your room have been drawn, the lamps turned on and a little food gift left on the bed - it’s these little touches that set this hotel apart from larger, more anonymous chain-type hotels. I highly recommend this hotel, it’s very intimate and personal and is ideal for couples. If I ever return to Dubrovnik I would definitely stay at this hotel again

We only had one night here, unfortunately, but well worth it. Views are amazing! Breakfast service was a little slow but you ordered off a menu, not a buffet. Pool area was great as well and we got a free bottle of wine.

The location is a bit far from the old city, but it was good stay. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, and they fixed every problem we had with the room. Breakfast was absolutely lovely every morning, and they gave us a fantastic list of restaurants to eat at outside the hotel.

It’s about a 20 minute walk to the old city so be prepared for that.

Top things: the views will take your breath away. No questions asked. We had a room with a view, so could enjoy it daily. Both pools are located with the view, one full and one partial, but still amazing. Second best thing is definitely the service. Seems like these people want you to be happy. Very kind, professional, welcoming and smiling all the time. Make your stay easier. Third, the food. It is better then expected for sure. Breakfast a’la carte is simply great. We also had lunch and all dishes were really good. The Chef here is not accidental, a pro as simply these flavors don’t come by accident. Last, the rooms. The bathrooms are definitely solid 4 stars, the room was 4, to be kind. I can’t explain why, as everything seems to be fine, but simply we both with my wife felt it, it should be more to match the rest of this boutique quality place. To finish I could easily say it is a boutique hotel, high quality, calm, memorable, place you want to come back too.

Where do I even begin with my review? There are too many positive things to mention about this resort! Please please stay here if in Drubovnik you will not regret it!!

- Hotel room was modern/luxurious and contained so many fancy amenities! We were provided a bottle of complimentary wine in our room on arrival + luxury snacks and a turn down service was also provided. The views from the balcony suite which we were in was breathtaking as we could see the beach from directly above it. Did I mention the beach was only a shirt 3 minute walk walk direct access from the hotel? The hotel also provided beach towels which made life so much easier :)

- Breakfast was a beautiful experience with the food being selected from a menu rather than a buffet (which we loved as every meal was custom made and individually prepared fresh from the kitchen for each order). The taste was absolutely delicious.

- Short walk to the Old Town (but quite frankly with the beach so close you'll probably end up spending majority of the time at the beach!)

- Lovely staff who are willing to go above and beyond for you to make your stay the best as possible

- Loved the two infinity pools and the loungers next to them. Definitely had way too many cocktails ;)

I normally do not write such long reviews but for this resort it was well deserved. Thank you again for providing me and my husband an amazing time.

Excellent A’la Carte Breakfast. Very good rooms. lovely views from the 2 infinity pools. Lively beach at the bottom of the hotel.Fantastic 15 min walk from Old town of Dubrovnik. 5 Euros by Uber if you don’t want to walk.
Only dissatisfaction was with the expensive mini bar in the room. You can easily end up spending 50 euros daily just for cold drinks and water (6 euros per 300 ml bottle). In house restaurant Nebula only good for breakfast.

One of the best places we've ever stayed. The seaview from the pool area is unmatched and the staff will do whatever they can to make your stay perfect.
The a la carte breakfast is, without a doubt, the best breakfast we've had. The food is on another level and breakfast was one of our favorite moments of the day.
It's a nice 20 min walk to busy old town. A must see, and a pretty one, but coming back to the hotel felt like coming back to our little, quiet oasis.

Not sure where to begin.

Service - impossible to match up against anyone. From the moment you step in the service from reception to the wait staff and restraunt staff were friendly courteous and always checking in. The cleaning staff were so quick and amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of the PEOPLE here.

Room - beautiful room. Words won't do justice to the view they have. Litreally the infinity pool is amazing but the balcony with the view of the ocean is stunning. Rixos doesn't have this view.

The most underrated part was the food here. It was a michellin restraunt quality. I don't say this lightly. Somehow a club sandwich came out tasting like the world's greatest sandwich... a club sandwich which I don't normally like.

I would litreally come back to Croatia just for this place. Thank you Villa Orabelle for everything you did for my wife and I. Your staff are truly unbelievable and I will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely boutique hotel in Dubrovnik. The location is about 1.5km walk from the city centre alongside a fantastic coast view. Facilities include two small pools to chill at, breakfast is a la carte & a delight & all the staff is very friendly. I’ve asked for a sleeping mask & they went out of their way to areange two of them for us in no time. We’ve enjoyed our stay & would love to come back.

Me and my fiancé really enjoyed our stay here as the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was perfect and we loved our time spent lounging in and around the infinity pool. The view was spectacular! We had to catch a ferry early and had to leave before breakfast but the staff packed a nice lunch for us which was really thoughtful of them. I highly recommend staying here as it was wonderful!! Thanks for everything!

One of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed at. beautiful location yet only 15mins walk to old town, immaculate throughout, staff can’t do enough for you but aren’t over the top. As it’s only 19 odd rooms it feels super private and luxurious, especially with the cushioned sun beds and cabanas. Food was lovely and unlimited a la carte breakfast is a great touch. Room 12 is the one to go for if booking a superior double with terrace!

Amazing view and location, lovely breakfasts, and walking distance to the beach and slightly further Dubrovnik Old Town. We were very happy we chose this over the nearby larger hotels!

Exceptional attention to detail, staff polite and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms spotlessly clean, every attempt made to surpass guest expectations. Communal areas spotlessly. Breakfast was fantastic and healthy with lots of fresh options available. Fantastic views, two great infinity pools. Rooms well appointed and good amenities in room with tea and coffee available. Modern in room safes. Highly recommended if in Dubrovnik. Easy walking distance to centre of Old Dubrovnik and lots of good restaurants in the area. 5 stars!! Can't wait to return!!

This might just be the best experience we've ever had in a hotel.
The entire staff is very welcoming and polite. At breakfast you can basically pick anything from the menu at random, it will be delicious anyway.
Since Villa Orabelle is located on the top of the hill you get amazing views from any spot: your room, the restaurant, the infinity pool, basically anywhere.
One thing I have to mention is that we were among the first to visit Croatia after the borders opened, at one point we were the only guests. That obviously made our stay even better since we always had a spot by the pool, it was extremely quiet and cozy at all times and the staff always had time for us. There may be a problem with getting a spot by the pool or parking your car in case the hotel is fully booked. But these are the only potential issues I can think of. Parking a car by the hotel is a bit of a challenge, but the staff will do it for you if you don't feel experienced enough.
The Bellevue Beach is right down the stairs from the hotel. It may be a steep climb back, but that's the nature of Croatia: the sea and the mountains. It is a public beach, but it seems that not a lot of people know about it since it's pretty hidden from the public eye.
And finally, on the day of our departure we needed a late checkout due to the evening flight. The staff offered us a room to stay in for a few more hours FOR FREE. That was the cherry on top.

Long story short: great location, great service, great food, amazing people. 10/10.

The superior room with terrace is amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had! The two outdoor pools are also incredible! Definitely the BEST hotel in Dubrovnik!

I had previously made a reservation at another hotel (Excelsior), luckily I changed it to this one. it was very cosy, friendly and close to Croatian culture. Magical view (despite the disgusting Rixos and bellevue hotel) but you can see the beautiful coastline and the beach with the caves! the breakfast and the girls in the restaurant are excellent! the simple room is nice , relatively small but it is summer and you can enjoy the perfect pool.

Spectacular place! Very special with the fantastic service, delicious breakfast with plenty of variety, views from everywhere and two pools. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Old Town and a wonderful escape from that chaos. Highly recommend
