Bando Beach

Nice place to relax and get a beer. Entrance fee was 50 lemoira a person. Beers cost about the same. Bunch of chairs and hammocks around to lounge on. Bar serves cocktails and food too. If you wanna snorkel, you have to get over some reef/rocks. I recommend bringing water shoes if you’re very intent on it and want to access the deeper water. Otherwise the water is shallow and you can walk out.

We didn't have such a great weather that day but no problem, food was great, music was pumping and drinks were served as requested. Shout-out to that great bartending even in wet tropical beach weather. Been there before during sunny day and definitely is the place to be for a good time and great scenery.

Bando is the main place we send our guests! (as well as enjoying it ourselves!). With the cleanliness of the beaches, the restaurant, and the bathrooms, it is far and away an easy recommendation. We have been joining Vanessa and her staff at Bando for, literally, years, and we will continue to do so for the drinks, the food, and the camaraderie. This is also a fantastic place to make your own sunset postcard with yourself in it!

I love this place. Every time we come to Utila this is our main beach.

Great snorkeling past the shallows to the left. You can swim out to the dive sites but definitely not a good idea since there are boats out there. Bring some bug spray if you plan on laying on the beach which also has some WiFi

We were looking for the best water and found it in Bando Beach. Fresh and sunny!

Nice tucked beach corner... Quiet, nice views, little bit of snorkeling, wind rustling through the palm trees. A nice relaxing visit for an afternoon off. Entrance is 50 lemps.

The beach is great. Not too crowded. The restaurant is touristy. Nachos, chicken fingers, hamburgers, etc. Good, but not really the place to go unless you're hanging out on the beach. It has a purpose and it serves it well. Service is on the slow side so if you're in a hurry, this is not the place to be. Hopefully, you're not in a hurry. That defeats the purpose of a beach.

Beautiful beach kept very clean. There's a fee used to keep the beach clean. The waitress comes to your chair on the beach.

The beach is incredible. Not vegan friendly, because staff just doesn't understand it. They do try and are very nice 🙂. Worth going even if your not going to eat at restaurant.

40L is the fee to enter so that they can keep maintaining the beach. The water is clean & the beach is combed. They serve food here and have a bar. Worth going to!

Small beautiful beach. Water is very calm, pet friendly. Have to pay entrance (most of the day) has a bar that serves food and drinks.

The beach is great. Its my favorite sunset spot on the island. Enjoy it as a customer or for a fee. The restaurant and bar area has a friendly staff and consistently good food. I love the build your own burrito special on Thursdays. This is a must see and experience on any trip to the island.
