Great place to stop and have a drink. Great atmosphere and wonderful views.

A local and tourist favourite. Land & dock bar with hammocks, water entry via stairs or beach (beach entry rocky - water shoes recommended). Fantastic snorkeling. There's a fresh water shower on the dock to rinse after swimming. Floaties at no charge (when available). Gorgeous sunset views. Excellent prices on drinks.

The owner works the bar, along with some help. So service is good, it feels real - no fake smiles. Just good people.

This place is home. Seriously, Zac and Shannon make you feel like family whether it's your first day on the island or you've been there for years. Great for sunset, a quiet hammock on the dock, or a going away float party off the dock. Keep an eye out for their special events. They rock!

Beautiful spot, great vibe. It's a lovely place to sit outside and have a drink. When it's open the bar is a haunt of locals, so you can always make great friends.

The snorkeling is great. You can walk off the end of the dock and hit the shelf in a few meters. It's easier to get out at high tide.

We stumbled across this quintessential remote island bar while meandering around the island on a golf cart. It is everything you would hope for in that situation: great views, good drinks, friendly bar tender, and a handful of locals (ex pats) cozied up and happy to chat.

This place has such a good vibe. One of the best places on the island to enjoy a professionally prepared drink and enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

My favorite beachside bar. I go every day while in Utila and thats often.

Beautifully set by the ocean, Blue Bayou offers a good selection of beverages. It also has a reasonably priced food menu. You can swim and snorkle right from their private dock. Locals, expats and visitors can usually be found spending a lazy afternoon hanging out.
