Baleadas Mama Rosa

If you are looking for the best deal on the best classic Honduran food, look no further than Mama Rosa - The only thing larger than the menu are the portions and everything is cooked fresh to order. The baleadas are gargantuan and the pupusas are an absolute home run. Paired with some company and bebidas, you're guaranteed to have a phenomenal time at Mama Rosa's any time of the day!

A great local place to taste a baleada. Stopped here twice and shared the meals with my wife. Best baleada I had on the island. Very reasonably priced and plenty of varieties.

Wonderful baleadas and we visited every day we were on the island, sometimes twice a day. The pork was our favourite but we tried nearly all of them so you can’t go wrong.

I love this place! It’s a no frills eatery with quick and friendly service. I thought I had a baleada but not until I tried here! Ordered on two separate occasions the lobster baleada and then lobster burrito - both were amazing for taste and value. Could not finish either in one sitting and saved as a second snack later on. Also tried the passion fruit juice which was deliciously refreshing. Had I stayed any closer, I would have eaten several times a day.

Amazing baleadas and other food for a very good price!

So far the only place I've found with fresh maracuya juice available all the time. Many other places add water to their juices, but here they don't! Only wish they offered the juice to-go so I could keep some at home.

I love how they make the papusas here, I have never had any like it anywhere else. They're not like El Salvadorean papusas, but are still great! They make them with corn tortilla instead of flour tortilla so that changes the texture.

The baleadas are cooked crunchier if you order them to eat in. But if you order them to-go I think they taste like every other baleada (cheap sustenance, but nothing special).

Great food, great prices. Mama Rosas is the go-to for filling meals at a value. If there’s a line, the wait can be a bit long. But if no one, your food will be out in 10 min. I love this place.

Hit it 👍🏿! Seems to be one of the cheapest spots on the island. You can get an assortment of dishes but people will mostly come for the Baleadas. Lots of seating space but can get very busy in the evening with groups. Things tend to get made one at a time so you can be waiting for a while.

BEST BALEADAS ON UTILA. Maybe all of the country, as I've tried many across Honduras and none has ever been as BIG in size, flavour, & contents for a great price!

I find the tortilla itself to be thinner than most others, & crisper. Big fan, as I once thought I hated baleadas. Mama Rosa changed my mind.

The baleadas are delicious and huge. My husband and I usually share one. Their pupusas are also great.

Delicious food for great prices!! This whole meal costed me 130 lempiras with the tajadas (and 10 more if you wanna replace them for french fries). Still cheap and delicious! Totally recommend it!

Lots of food options for very good prices. We had bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches with a portion of fries. They were delicious. Their maracuyá (passion fruit) juice was refreshing, not watered-down.

Great baleadas. Huge, and good variety. The chicken is pretty good. Also their quesadillas and blt aren't bad either. Great food, cheap price. We ate here a lot on our visit to Utila!

Some of the best baleadas we had during our stay in Honduras! If you are looking for some really good high quality cheap food on Utila this is the place to go! The baleadas are huge, I couldn't eat a whole one!

The baleadas are the biggest on the island and so filling!
