Everything was good in this restaurant. The service perfect, the place lovely and the food delicious.

We loved it and will be back before leaving the island.

Every dish was great! Liked the fish burrito but the lobster takes the price. The fried fish was perfection, definitely quality fry. The whole exterior of the fish was editable, even the tail and head. It comes with it's typical sides. Highly recommend for first time visitors.

You can just go into the party into the bar at the end of the place. Good drinks and sensible prices.

A must in Utila!

The lovely ladies working here were such gems. I came during a quiet time and got to sit by the dock, I could see that at night time it could be good for lively entertainment. It was nice to relax and watch the boats go by. I ordered the lobster salad and it was refreshing. I appreciated that they also take credit card but the terminal was down that day. It was good to know for larger orders as there were a few items on the menu that I wanted to try e.g. fried fish of the day

The seafood soup was GREAT!!! Highly recommend!

Good food, Great prices Daily lunch & dinner specials. Casual dining. Perfect for groups. Try the whole fried snapper! So delicious. Friendly, helpful service. Fresh seafood, and tipico menu. Authentic Caribbean, colourful waterside diner with fish murals, and fun knickknacks. TV and wifi. Limited beverage menu.

Ten years and counting , coming to Mario’s Place and it is always the best place to eat in utila. My husband loves taking to Mario about fishing , we always end up spending at least 2 hours there between eating and my husband taking with Mario. Food is amazing, always has everyday specials and great budget friendly.

Very tasty fish burger and the place has a good vibrant energy. Large menu selection with lots of fresh and local fish and seafood options.

Perfect to eat fish! We had grilled shrimp and the grilled fish fillet with this you can choose two sides. Great food, great service!

Delicious fish fingers and Jamaica , and great daily deals. Very friendly people , definitely need to dine here during your time in Utila. We’ll be revisiting 💙

Staff are friendly and food is good. I had a fried fish special to-go and it was enough for 2 meals!

Mario is an awesome cook best lobster, My first night in utila, every time I go I have to visit Mario and get the biggest lobster he has ...Keep it up bro ....I'll be back soon....

Marios has delicious food and great hospitality. I ate here almost every day. EVERYTHING is made fresh, from the sauces to the rice. Ceviche is incredible and the green salad dressing is my new favorite. Always on point, with great prices.

Great seafood at a very reasonable price for the island, but what stood up for us was Cris's costumer service. He was very nice and attentive. 😄🦞

Service is amazing here. Little family run business with great food at decent prices. I had ceviche and the lobster burger which were both delicious.

Mario is an excellent cook with some of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. Environment is low key and completely relaxed. Great rum drinks as well. It is well off the main Street with just a small sign but it is worth finding

Hubby had grilled shrimp and I had the pork chop, both excellent, especially with the pepper sauce added. Atmosphere is very islandish. We appreciated that we could tie our dinghy to their pier. Staff was very friendly

mario is a fabulous cook. Authentic island sea food , huge variety of fish to choose from, often caught that day. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

My favourite place to eat in Utila, can be a little slow coming but the food is worth the wait! Had seafood everytime we visit and it is always delicious. Seems to be where the locals go for a good meal too.

Really nice owner. Pool table to play while waiting for your food. Fajitas were steaming hot and delicious.

I got the grilled seafood platter and the seafood soup. Both were very tasty!
