Carlotta's On The Beach

Reading the reviews I wasn’t sure but thought why not, it’s right next to a gorgeous beach and gotta love dive-ish bars. The lady operating was friendly and I could see the regular patrons cared about this establishment when a storm rolled through and they stopped to pick up the menu sign. There is limited seating approximately 6-8 tables (but you can be served beachside), was neat to see a hammock inside and convenience of a bathroom in the back. Now onto the food, I couldn’t resist getting the ceviche for the mixed price. Although it took a little while, it was worth the wait as it was delicious - very zesty. Definitely my go-to when I want a no frills experience for local comfort food.

Gute honduranische Hausmannskost, ziemlich reichlich! ja es dauert länger, aber dafür werden wir individuell bedient und wir könnten in aller Ruhe dort sitzen. Am nächsten Tag hatten wir allerdings ein wenig Bauchprobleme.

La comida es rica . Comimos unos tacos de pollo y una hamburguesa de pescado muy ricos. Pero tardaron alrededor de una hora . Relación precio calidad; nada mal .

Pedí un plato de costilla de cerdo y me dieron dos pedacito bien pequeños, demasiado, los demás platillos que pedimos con mis otros amigos estaban bien

We’ve been waiting for one and a half hour and then she raised the price and didn’t tell us that tax is not included, truly outrageous. She also didn’t mention that the grilled fish is much more expensive than the fried one! Go to mango tango, that’s good food !! We Where also the only ones there. This was an absolutely terrible experience!

Took 2 hours to get food and we were the only ones there. We ordered tacos and enchiladas because they only had corn flour so menu was limited. I don’t know what we ate but it wasn’t that. It was boiled chicken and really fishy bad tasting fish on hard corn chips covered with a LOT of ketchup and some kind of gravy. We couldn’t even eat it. The cute cat on site got fed the meat. Only consider grabbing drinks here. Spare yourself.

1 hour to get a blooding burger, the place is not clean at all.
