Sundog Cafe, Rio Dulce

Best pizza so far in the Rio Dulce. Beer is cold, service is great. Margarita was a little too tart, but that seems to be the norm here. Definitely worth the visit and we'll be back.

Very nice burger with avo for Q53. (I ordered without tomato and it actually arrived without tomato, which is like first time it worked out in Guatemala.) Beautiful view across the water, friendly staff

Food was lovely, good prices. Loved the view from the restaurant. They were very quick at serving us our food as we had a boat to catch.

I can't really tell much about the food because I didn't eat there. I just stopped by because I needed to get a boat to go to our hostel. They welcomed me to the bar, drop my bags, offered me internet and bath so I could wait comfortably. I just regret I didn't check this place a night before, they have an awesome vibe going on.

Good food with a great view of the Rio Dulce. The drinks were well made and the juices were fresh. This is also a common place for transportation pickup.

Great food!! Amazing location. We had salad, pizza, fries ,pasta. Ate there twice when we were in that part of Guatemala.

Little slow on cocktails but food is great. Good portions. Had guac and salsa, chicken on salad and burger. Almost craft beer selection! Cute 😺 too

Very friendly bar and Bistro. I would especially recommend the Pizza for which Sundogs is very well known, and the huge sandwiches. Guaranteed to satisfy the hungriest of diners. I think it's important to add that standards are high, so it's a clean and safe place to eat in Rio Dulce.

Everything about this place gets 5 stars!!! The thin crust pizza is delicious. The portion size on the many dishes served are large. Great job Sun Dog!!!

What a great place! Not just a Cafe. Also a Bar. Not just a Hang Out Place to meet all kind of people. Also a Pizza place. Not just the place with the best food in Rio Dulce. Its all in one! Best place in Rio Dulce. Forget all the Gringo Places like Brunos, the Shack etc. At the Sundog Cafe you meet beautiful local girls and interesting foreign Boaters. People from all over the world. All at the same Place

Great setting for a bar/restaurant. Beers reasonably priced and whilst we were there they were serving tomalis as well as there regular menu which were a great option for a budget lunch.

Great views out to the water, great food - avocado chocolate milkshake is a winner! Helpful staff, modern decor, clean. Great place to come for lunch and beers.
