Lady working today was ever so helpful and friendly and reason why we spent so much money. Great selection of fudge, sweets and ice cream and many other snacks and drinks. Had the pistachio ice cream which was very tasty. Lots of good quality wooden toys from the orange tree toys company.

Friendly staff. Great stock of fudge in loads of different flavours. Short bread, ciders, beers, gin, sweets and toys. What more could you want in a shop

The best ice cream we've ever had! Recommend the Turkish delight and choc chip flavour.

Brilliant local produce stocked here which is delightful. Always look forward to dropping by. The fudge is addictive!

Most items we've bought over many years have been delicious, but our grandson bought us a bar of rum and raison fudge each. Got home and both bars have absolutely no rum flavour at all. Can't travel over 200 miles to complain.

Loads to offer, but at great expense.

This place is stocked really well and has a lot to offer. However, I found it quite pricey for what it was.

We actually bought quite a bit, and some of it was quite disappointing, while some of it was good like the Devon Nut fudge.

What I really did not like was when I asked for a particular quantity of uncut fudge. I was rudely pointed to the precut 100g packets, which I did not want.

As a tourist, I'm not sure I would recommend buying anything here thought as you can get it elsewhere a lot cheaper, and it's nothing that special to Devon, unless you get the Devon Nut fudge.

I believe they have purely inflated the prices as they know its gonna feed from the tourists. I have mixed opinions on this place, I just know I would avoid if I go back to Lynmouth.

A shop that sells a product (fudge) by weight, perplexed by a somewhat simple request, the guy behind the counter got there eventually but not without some pretty poor customer service. The fudge was nice though...

Very rude and unhelpful staff. Took my autistic daughter inside having seen the sign that clearly says 100g of sweets for £1.40. We were told quite abruptly that you can’t have them you can only have the bigger bags that were already made up that cost more money and she would not take the jar of sweets sat on shelf behind her and weigh out 100g. Having now read other reviews it’s clear the staff do not like tourists. DON’T waste your money in this shop, spend it elsewhere where your business will be appreciated.

Extremely miserable staff,went in with my son to purchase some sweets for him, once at the counter he asked the lady very politely for some fudge from the window display to which he was met with “sorry,no more shopping for you” and had a random £2 bag of fudge placed in front of him…once paid for we were ushered out the store and the door closed behind us!!

We visit lynmouth regularly and won’t be spending our money here again!

Spent over £70 in this shop, thinking it would be nice to support a small business for some of my Christmas gift purchases. Whilst my husband took the heavy bags to the car, I waited outside the shop. A member of staff came out and was chatting to a local man and did nothing but complain about the tourists! Ummm yeah the tourists that keep your business going as I am sure the locals don't spend their money in your shop.
Your utter contempt for the people visiting Lynmouth was disgusting.
If it wasn't for the fact that you had locked up the shop by the time my husband returned, I would have been asking for a refund and spent my money in one of the other shops instead.
Having always holidayed in Lynmouth, I will now take my hard earned money elsewhere as I wouldn't want to upset you by bringing business to a small tourist village.

7 of us visited this shop, 5 ice cream's purchased plus bags of sweets for 2 children. Children were exited to be able to choose sweet's up to a specific value of £2 each. Shop keepers attitude was poor. Had no patience and showed no courtesy with a miserable demeanour.

Very rude staff. Refused to weigh out some sweets despite having them in containers ready to be bagged up. The lady behind the till was extremely rude and miserable. Don't bother, go and support literally any other shop in the area.

Grumpy, impatient staff. Nice fudge but wish I'd spent my money somewhere else. Take a look around as plenty of others to choose from.
