An amazing example of traditional skills and the candles are fantastic. They burn far better than products twice the price. Nothing is wasted and the fragrance lasts throughout the burn period. Don't let the candle maker close - take the trip to Lynmouth and stock up! I'm purchases will last all winter!

We dropped in while browsing local stores to get out of the rain and found a little gem! Lovely candles, friendly and helpful staff. Many of the candles looked too beautiful to burn.

A huge selection of candles and fragrances, the candlemaker is a lovely person and he's very passionate. I recommand this as a thing to see in Lynton. If I pass-by again, i'll definitely come 😀 Merci beaucoup !

These soy wax candles are amongst the best even-burning candles purchased - and I have been doing do for 25 years. The vast range of scents are released down to the final burn and are true to their naming; sweet pea really does evoke that Summer aroma of climbing flowers. A must for those visiting Lynton who love candles.

What a shame the baker and the butcher are no longer in the village, but thankfully the candlestick maker is. The smells were wonderful and you can watch how the candles are made. Same scents were amazing. Much better than Yankee candles. Support local businesses. Well worth visit. You won't leave empty-handed.

Amazing selection of candles, the shop smelt incredible. The owner was very welcoming even inviting my German shepherd in too. Very enthusiastic about his craft. After some pondering we came away with 8 miniature candles which all smell lovely, in fact I'm burning one now as I write this review. It's also great to know the business takes a green approach by using environmentally friendly ingredients such as soya wax. Definitely pop in if you're in Lynton!

I bought one of these candles in Devon purely because it had a little sign next to them in the shop saying they were better than Jo Malone. I thought it was a bold claim so bought one to try. The sign was absolutely right! These are such beautifully scented candles and I have bought many more since. The man who makes them is just so lovely. My only niggle is I would like to order them online please!

What a gorgeous little gem this one is. Never seen a candle store like lyn candles.
There isn't a scent that you won't be able to find here. The candle sculptures are simply elegant and worth every penny. Looking for a special gift or a reason to treat yourself then come find this little drop of pure. Wonderfully presented with the fragrance of a thousands feelings. Very glad I came across lyn candles. There will be some happy people that receive there little gifts from here.

A true independent producing a vast array of aromatic and unique candles on the premises. Great place for buying presents for the truly hard to buy for, a bit off the beaten track but well worth investigating and supporting!

Friendly and helpful staff with so many amazing scents in different sizes and special offers when you bought multiple. There were also lovely extras and interesting/ individual types of candles like ones with shells in !
