A great drive by cafe off the highest standard. Warm welcome and a lovely area for dinning. We had breakfast there and there are gluten free options apart from toast, but sausages, beans and hash browns all gluten free.

Food is well priced and excellent we both really enjoyed the food and everything was clean and fresh.

Toilets were good and clean and without any issues.

The entrance is very welcoming as are the staff and its a great dinner for dogs and children to relax.

Definitely be back its a great stop off for travellers and locals looking for a great lunch or afternoon tea or coffee. Open everyday too so don't miss the opportunity of this great Dinner.

Great find while travelling down the coast road. A really smart cafe serving delicious home cooked breakfast and lunch. We had a terrific cooked breakfast and home made cakes to take away.

Came upon this cafe by chance, wasn't sign posted in advance, if road had been busy might not have been able to make last minute turn into road leading to this welcoming place. Plenty of free parking, dog friendly inside,(lots of establishments are dog friendly but only outside,so it was good to know at Gemma's, as at the time it was pouring with rain. The girl who waited on our table was very friendly and helpful and told us we had arrived just as the cafe was about to close, but she told us to stay put,and order whatever we wanted and to not worry about rushing to leave so they could close. It was avrry nice place and the food was very nicely cooked, and tasty. Also we didn't have to wait very long for it to be brought to us. I might add it wasn't too expensive. Two coffees, one vegetarian breakfast, and one poached egg on toast, (two eggs on two slices of toast. A really enjoyable experience. Had this cafe been more sign posted both ways, I know we would've called in there on our way back, but it was busier on the road and we didn't see the sign for it until we were almost past the turn off. Such a shame. So could do with more signage, on both sides of the road, and probably a bit further away from the actual turning! Would recommend this cafe.

Fantastic find. We popped in for a late lunch with our 4yr old son. They were really welcoming & accommodating. The food was delicious (we had ploughmans, choc milkshake & latte). Even my son loved his sandwich (ham + fruit shoot) - which can be a challenge! Thanks ladies!
I would definitely recommend this cafe for good food & service.

Wow, what a fabulous find. Thank you swim friends for taking us after our training session this morning.
The place was buzzing, but they found space for us all upstairs and the breakfast certainly filled that post swim gap.
Looking forward even more now to our next training session and we will definitely be calling in for breakfast again.
Thank you to all the team at Gemma's at Waytown 🙂

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Staff were accommodating with the menu and add ons. Coffee was great so was the iced coffee. Visited a few times during our 3 weeks stay ... As I was craving Toast as we were camping.
Really lovely staff too. Will be visiting again in 2024

If we could of moved in, we would of!
We stayed with family down the road in Dean and my god, we are lucky you can't walk here.
The food is fresh local produce and its literally something dreams are made of.
All the ladies we came across, were polite, friendly and quick and we returned multiple times in the same week.
The deep fried mushrooms are also a must if you do pop by.
Kids & adults fed, watered and full of great food for the days adventures. Perfect!

Really liked this place, Free parking, nice inside with plenty of room, lady who served us was engaging and helpful. We all enjoyed an English Breakfast which as I remember was about £9 for the large which included toast, Hash browns, mushrooms, black pudding, beans, tomatoes 2 Bacon 2 sausages and fried egg. My son didn’t want beans and was able to swap for something else, many places don’t do swaps.. Bacon was smoked and I prefer non smoked and if I return I’ll ask if it’s possible to have non smoked 😉

Been driving by for a year meaning to go in. Glad I did. Food was great (not often I feel I can't finish a full English), coffee tasted like coffee, which is always hit and miss in a cafe, definitely a hit here. The girls serving were very friendly, which I have to say seems to be a dying trait. To top it off, the prices were realistic, at least a third cheaper (maybe more) than down in Coombe Martin. This place might become a regular for me.

Lovely homecooked food using great quality ingredients.
Full English £9, big slade of home made cake £3, coffee £2.50.
Fantastic value in today's market, cooked fresh with ingredients you could taste the difference with.
Service excellent and friendly, chilled out ambience. Plenty of available parking.
Hidden gem off the track!

We visited this morning on the way home from our holiday. We were made to feel welcome straight away and the order was taken promptly. We are a party of 8 so expected a wait for the food, but it was only 20 minutes which was great. The food was hot, freshly cooked and really tasty. We all had cooked breakfasts and all plates were clean, including our 3 children! Excellent service and brilliant food, what more could anyone want?! Thank you ladies.

A great place for breakfast (and other food, including home baked cakes) - left Coombe Martin in the rain and pit stopped here - really friendly staff and a fine full English - top ingredients and a tasty mug of tea. Will be a regular everytime I'm down that way.

The breakfast here is 10/10! We were recommended here so visited before traveling home ( combe martin back to manchester) and we were so glad we stopped here before our long journey. Really nice setting, there was not one item on the breakfast I didn't go 'yum' at! The lady who served us was really friendly too. Really great service, amazing food and lovely setting. Would 100% come back if venture back down south.
