Tesco Express

This little Tesco’s is very handy to buy last minute items.
I had a great experience on Christmas Eve (evening time) where a female member of staff was extremely helpful and delivered excelent customer service. I wish I took her name!
I was only buying dishwasher tablets and she was really nice.
Also a few parking spots right outside the door if you are lucky.

Hi, ever since I've moved back to B&H and had some serious health issues (still ongoing), I was always 'appy to go to this store specifically because of an security guard who is in his probably mid 50s, never had I've met a more well behaved gentleman, so kind,helpful,funny and an example to the younger generations how a man should behave! I can't put in words how this man is being so positive, throughout the pandemic I could see him and hear him encouraging people in the queue, speaking shortly to folks and at least for a minute making them feel special in terms of being human. This kind Sir has kept his cool even after the worst was over in terms of Covid, God bless you kind Sir! Cheers

This Tesco near the Hove station is a lot quieter than the bigger branch near George Street however it’s good to go during the weekdays especially since you can easily go to the self checkouts to avoid large queues and to keep your distance from each other.

I would give this branch 5 stars and 9 out of 10 because of how close this is to the nearest train station. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Friendly staff - not bad choice over crowded but they are trying to give us much choice as possible for a small shop at good prices - can't say fairer than that really, if you want as much choice as possible for a small store it will have over crowded aisles

This is such a handy shop as open late on Sundays, they are handling the social distancing very well and there is a security guy that stands outside to let one in/one out, they have full hand sanitisers and sprays for baskets and the shop is layed out well. I qued here yesterday with many bags and a large parcel and as i was queing the helpful security guard Ron offered to look after my large parcel while i went round the shop, little things like that go a long way in my book, especially during these difficult times, what great customer service! Thanks Tescos and thanks Ron

A good place to shop before going to Hove station. Small but useful. Also has self-service tills.
