One of the best Lidl's I've been to in a long while. Great selection of English & European foods. They have cooked snails in shells!

It was nice and clean, lot of variety of products.

Plenty to buy. Clean and tidy.
Quick at the tills

Great store, had the Maron Glacier at half the carafore price

Good selection not to busy and very well priced products plenty of parking easy recommendation

I don't like people but the ones in Lidl are tolerable.

U know what to expect in Lidl, but this one's slightly different, it's a bit smaller

This store is regularly well stocked, but get there early if you want a full selection of pastries, the price and quality is a local legend. Staff are friendly and the checkouts move faster than I've ever seen. Items in store stay in the same place so you can shop there regularly without it turning into the hunt-the-thimble game that other supermarkets play. I love the straightforward attitude to people, placement and prices.

There were lots of gaps and out of stock of so much, but the staff were so friendly and working hard to serve at the tills and get stock out.

Wow, what an amazing experience. I saw the fresh bakery aisle being dumped ( just before closing). An enormous waste of perfectly good food.
Otherwise all good; go late and avoid the great unwashed.

Good store, great staff too. Excellent range of quality food, drink and other products.
The store has a friendly atmosphere even when it's busy.
The only thing I'm not so keen on are the large plastic baskets that are towed around like dogs on leads!
Unlike Aldi, use of the packing area is not encouraged and a lot of customer's insist on holding up the queue by packing at the checkout.

Ample of parking and plenty of disabled parking to lidles newhaven everything at extremely low prices thay have a deal on for a 42inch Panasonic HD with free view widescreen tv at 200 45 pound at the moment and still have a lot left very helpful staff and management everything is kept lovely and clean inside meny products changing daily still at wonderful prices I would recommend this lidles to everyone plants and bedding outside at the front of store I give them a 5 star for excellent

OK so prices have gone up slightly, but I can still get best value for money at Lidl. The only thing I couldn't get there was the pedigree dog pouches. The dog is fussy but my food is great.

I love Lidl. Especially the aisle in the middle. This store in Newhaven is especially well stocked, and spacious with good lighting. Adequate parking available too. Social distancing in operation, but staff are still helpful and friendly. They're is no self-checkout at this store (as of August 2020), but there are enough checkout operators open to cope with customer demand.
Update September 2022: no social distancing operating now, toilet paper suddenly got really expensive, and pick Darren's checkout queue as it moves the fastest.
Update November 2022: The best Christmas food items available now. I looooove the Nougat that comes out this time of year from Lidl.
Still good value for money although I've noticed it costing a little more each time (May 2023)

Large selection of goods, fresh fruit and meat products, cheap. Accordingly, it is very busy

Of all Lidles in the greater Brighton area I like this one the best. Quite spacious and always well stocked. Easier parking the the rest in terms of arriving and leaving, especially leaving without a lot of waiting to get out. Nice.

The price is very good

Cheap, fresh, handy, friendly staff and well managed, huge parking space, well surrounded with other shops.
