Excellent store, extensive stock and great service.

The staff ate always friendly and helpful. I can always flying in and put with few ques. They have also installed about 6 new self service check outs that make it an even quicker visit. I seemed to arrive at a good time, roughly 3pm in the afternoon and they had reduced some curtains to 50p...It was incredible reductions, they were only single curtains but managed to get 4 packs for £2, probably would have cost me £50 plus at full prices.

Found what was needed however can be quite more expensive than most, however all good and sturdy stuff can be bought here and helpful staff at checkout and other spots in the store. Using what was bought there, do they home deliver the bigger things bought.

I went to B&Q Newhaven store to buy a mower and garden storage unit. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Andy, in particular, who loaded my trolly for me, took it to the checkout and then loaded it into my car. Thank you. I couldnt have asked for a better shopping experience. I will be back again.

Nice stuff to be found here though mostly on the large or industrial side of things, found what was intended on being bought here, good staff help as well.

I bought a lot of laminate flooring the other day (nearly thirty packets) and would have struggled to manage it on my own. One of the managers, Andy, was so helpful and helped me load the trolley, pushed it to the till and even helped me load my car. He was really friendly and approachable, amazing customer service!

A helpful, happy, friendly lady served us today on the till. She's an absolute credit to the store, she made my day with her jolly banter .. Shame we dont get this sort of customer service from other stores..

Fantastic customer service at B&Q Newhaven today. I needed to exchange 3 small paving slabs for 3 large, very heavy ones. Thanks to the friendly, efficient till operator and the lad who loaded the slabs on my trolley, pulled it to the car and loaded them in the boot for me.

There was a fairly long queue to get in but was moving quite quickly. However, when we got to the front of the queue we were told only two people from each family. There was me, my son and a grandson. I elected to stay outside. I didn't mind, spent the time drag racing on my mobility scooter around the car park!

Always well stocked and priced, staff around if help is needed, and self service tills so no queues.

My husband was looking for a new electric drill and was helped by an employee called Norman. I cannot praise Norman enough. He was helpful, knowledgeable and patient. He loaded all our purchases into the car for us.
He is a credit to your store.

My experience with B&Q is always made better by encountering staff that were ex trades people. The wealth of knowledge and experience is very reassuring and helpful beyond measure. Sometimes this means the shop has a hardware store vibe from times gone by. Those rare gems of places where you can go into and have zero technical knowledge, but you leave with item you needed.

My past two vists I've had two extremely helpful members of staff assist me in finding what I needed. It was a pleasure to shop there especially as they allow dogs which helps massively my social anxiety.

Returned there today to get parts for my bathroom sink..Gary,very helpful and patient..Hope the parts do the job.

I went to B&Q this morning to be greeted by a friendly lady dealing with the trolleys. She then found me Amber to help find the paint I needed. At the tills I asked if they sold water, they didn’t but they went and got me a cup of water. They helped outside to find a shady place to wait for my taxi. I can’t thank them enough, and especially Amber.

Brilliant, got everything I wanted. Opening time is perfect. Great staff.

Got a really good deal on paint! buy 3 for price of 2. Only bought very small tin and 2 test pots got a £1 off!
