Came here to collect a book and wow!! This is a beautiful book shop :)! The staff were lovely and especially one of the guy staff was very lovely trying to also give ideas on which books to purchase :)! I love the way all book stands have the generes written and you can really see the care put for the books! I think having some second hand section could be helpful or even having some mystery books for people who want to read a genre but dont know where to go :)! Looking forward to reading my book :)! Also having some chairs on the corners could be helpful if people want to soak in the atmosphere :)

Absolutely stunning old school bookshop with lovely original features in keeping to the building. The store is beautifully laid out, bright and I adored the sliding ladders. There are books for just about every need and a children's area just to the back.

Beautiful old fashioned book shop, wooden floors and ladders tk reach the top shelves. A large selection, and a lovely children's book area. A grand staircase leading to more upstairs. Beautiful coloured glass windows, staff were delightful.

Absolutely lovely bookseller, had a really interesting conversation with her about our favourite books and bought one she recommended to me on the spot! can't wait to read and hopefully come back one day so we can meet again 🤞

Great bookshop, lots of non fiction books (plus ladders!). Definitely stop in.

The nicest bookshop to browse around in Cheltenham, and there are plenty of contenders. There are knowledgable and friendly staff on hand and a section for everybody, don’t miss the fantasy section hidden underneath the stairs! The cabinets are full of lovely rare books too, well worth a trip into town with some great cafés nearby.

Excellent customer service! Even though I haven’t purchased anything in the end the staff was super friendly and willing to help. Also the shop look is just wow! I love the ladders, it makes me feel like a library

Really beautiful bookshop. In spite of the tourist and monarchy oriented stuff in the window there's a very comprehensive non-fiction section and continuing upstairs.
