Queens Hotel Cheltenham

My wife and I had a 2 night stay 27/28 Feb. We were made very welcome and had a very spacious, well appointed room. The staff were very helpful - Jack and Georgia on reception in particular. Breakfast was magnificent. My only criticism was the parking charge. I feel that free parking should be one of the facilities of a good hotel. All in all we were pleased and would gladly return not least because the central position of the hotel made it easy to enjoy Cheltenham.

The Queens is becoming our second home...our go to escape ...to relax and unwind .. and we love it ...everytime we stay ..we never want to leave !
The service from reception , the greeting is just so warm and welcoming! The rooms are wonderful , the comfort of the room is outstanding!
The breakfast as ever is just THE BEST !
We honestly cannot thank you enough for looking after us once again ..
The little touch of the rose petals on the bed and the welcome return card means so very much to us
We thank you ...we can't wait to return, which will be very soon

Attended an event here with a sit down meal. Lovely food and great service. Beautiful decor and generally nice atmosphere. The bar is small so got busy quickly and drinks were expensive. Overall a perfect place for a posh event!

We spent one night as we were coming to the town hall for a show.
1) location - can't get better it's just opposite our event and close to the shopping area
2) room size is excellent
3) reception staff were wonderful, we came for our anniversary and this was acknowledged by staff and received a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise. Impressed to be remembered by the receptionist the next morning and didn't even need to tell her what room number either! So a shout out to Georgia, thank you for your attention to detail ❤
4) breakfast was nice, only gripe, cooked breakfast could have been hotter to eat, think it might have been under hot plates keeping warm not freshly cooked
5) highly recommend the stay and the building is fantastic to.... (had my initials all over the place 😄)

Fantastic hotel, beautifully maintained and very well serviced. Perfectly located as well. We had a great time as a family travelling with our 7 year old. Loved the breakfast, and the pub as well.

Excellent all round. The place is amazing and food was great. We would like to point out the above and beyond service Yankee gave us. Based on the service we received from Yankee alone, we'd stay again, never mind everything else. Thanks for everything.

During the immediate post war years I worked during school breaks for a local fishmonger who supplied the Queens with fresh fish, seafood and poultry on a daily basis. I would cycle down the High St to Rodney Road and cut through to the gardens behind the Town Hall before entering the hotel at the rear to unload the front carrier of various boxes. The chefs and kitchen staff were constantly busy but always had time to give me a pastry and a mug of tea.
Fast forward many decades to a more worldly and certainly older me who now resides abroad and came back to visit my birth town. My wife and I stayed at the Queens and were certainly not disappointed in the service, accommodations and food. The brief stay reinforced the respect I had for this amazing hotel and one day, perhaps we can visit once more.

We stayed for a weekend break, meeting friends who also stayed. The hotel is very well located, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the food in Victoria’s restaurant was as good as I have had anywhere. It is not a cheap hotel but it is good value and perfect for a stay in central Cheltenham. I’d not hesitate to stay there again.

Possibly the best location in Cheltenham for visiting all the attractions and restaurants. First class breakfast and amenities in the bedroom. We had the room above the main entrance and were never disturbed. The car park is on a first come basis but we never had a problem finding a space and well worth the £15 fee per day. A pleasure to stay here.

Stunning hotel, great location, good quality was excellent and wonderful staff. Visited for an event but did not stay over, however colleagues stayed and were complimentary of the rooms.

Had a wonder experience at The Queens Hotel - Cheltenham. Right from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very happy and cheerful receptionist. Our room was not only spacious and clean but well lit and bright - our children slept well on the very comfortable bed and woke up happy the following morning. Food was delicious - hats off to the chefs at The Queen’s Hotel . Service was excellent - special thanks to Sienna, Penny and Ajay for catering to us and masking our stay at the hotel a memorable one.

Got invited here for a private function and from start to finish it was amazing. Staff was really helpful. Always on hand and even at the end of a long night they were really cheerful. The quality of the food was amazing, in fact one of the nicest meals I have had in this town where I go to fairly frequently. I would recommend this hotel after being here few times before.

Hotel parking much more expensive than the public option EG £5.30 for two hours, twice the cost to park in road.

Second time staying at this lovely hotel.

We were a bit concerned that an INCREDIBLY noisy disco was playing in a front function room for a wedding reception. The doors were sound-proof but people were lurching in and out all the time, the racket blasting through each time. The receptionist assured that we had a room well away from the noise and he was as good as his word.

Room was spotlessly clean with effective air-con and really quiet. Bed superbly comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Amazing hotel, beautiful building the decor is stunning. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing, there is a lovely little garden with a bar in.

Attended a wedding. Superb service and food. Our severe allergies were very well understood and catered for. Highly recommend.
