Honest friendly gentleman. Rather than charge me lots of money to repair my tumble dryer he advised it wasn't worth repairing and gave me some fantastic advice on purchasing a new one. Have used him in the past for my Neff cooker and would definatly use AJ's DOMESTIC APPIANCE REPAIRS again.

Alan is superb due to his expertise and how he treats his customers. I contacted Alan as the original washer dryer appliance in my property wasn’t fit for purpose. Alan quickly established it needed to be replaced and didn’t waste my time / money on replacements parts. Whilst installing my new appliance he realised that the original drain hose was filled with black gunk - essentially grease, mould and bacteria. He replaced the drain hose and if he hadn’t replaced it, my new appliance would have been ruined and I still wouldn’t have clean clothes. Alan definitely undercharged me on this issue given he visited my property several times and spent several hours here each time. Honestly, I really trust Alan and I wouldn’t go to anyone else now. Plus I love having a chat with Alan!

I called on Monday morning as my range cooker stopped working on Sunday. Alan came to look at it today, explained what was wrong and fixed it on the spot. It cost me much less than I was expecting and Alan is very nice person as well. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

I found AJ Domestic online and they had good reviews so I decided to call them.
I am a landlord and a tenant in Aylesbury had a problem with an oven not working. I called Alan and gave him full details of the tenant etc. Within about 2 x days after I had contacted him, he had been to visit my tenant and carried out the repair. I would highly recommend Alan Jackson.

Called about my fridge issues. The Gentleman called me straight back and gave me his time to explain the most likely issue with a recommendation of how to try a fix but an honest appraisal of whether it was worth spending money on it. Ultimately he didn't need to come but saved me paying someone a call out fee to come and tell me this! Really grateful for his time. Will be using in future!

Alan was professional and extremely knowledgeable repairing our washer/drier on his first visit. Cannot recommend highly enough

Alan was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced our carbon brushes on a six year old washing machine and when that didn't resolve the issue, he was honest in his assessment that due to the potential cost of replacing motors and/or the program board, we should cut our losses. He explained everything step by step and I'm very pleased we chose to enlist his services (despite having to fork out for a new machine!)

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alan to anyone reading this.

An honest engineer. The machine was only fixed 2 months ago by someone else and he said that they would have known then that it was not worth mending as the bearings were going. As I had paid over the odds to have it fixed then, he charged me a reduced call out fee and gave me advice on the best replacement to buy. I would definitely use again..

This is the third appliance that Alan has visited my property to repair. After previously repairing my old washing machine and my tumble dryer, Alan promptly visited after my cry for help with my current washing machine. He completely fixed the issue, however the next day I noticed what I thought was the machine leaking. Alan returned again promptly, and we discovered that the problem was actually the result of some recent dodgy plumbing done by a relative of mine when he installed my dishwasher. This issue was no fault of Alans at all and didn't relate to the washing machine itself, yet he still fixed it for me. Nothing was too much trouble.
Alan is absolutely my go-to person now. He is most definitely a 'fixer' who prefers to get to the bottom of the problem, rather than being too quick to deem appliances or parts of appliances 'dead' and in need of replacing, ( around a year ago, Alan fixed my tumble dryer button, rather than replacing it. It has been perfect ever since) but has also advised when my appliance needed replacing ( as was the case with my old, worn out Beko washing machine where it wasn't worth repairing)

A J Domestic Appliance Repairs fixed my oven which had a worn out heating element. It was a cheap and awkward oven which I would probably have been better off replacing, but this was not an option at the time. A J fixed and gave me good advice about a replacement when I get around to it. Additionally he was working on on one of the hottest days of the summer and still went the extra mile for the repair. Excellent service, and glad there is someone local who can fix these ‘consumable’ appliances we are currently being sold. Recommended!

Ajs came out to fix my range cooker recently, not only did they do an excellent job, the price was extremely fair (it would have cost a fortune using someone else) and the quality far exceeded my expectations. Ajs is friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in their work. I won’t be using anyone else and have no issue recommending them to anyone.

Great service for my mother’s broken dishwasher. Straight up call out fee means you don't pay any more if it takes longer than expected to fix the job.

AJ has since fixed my mother’s washing machine, and replaced the bulbs in the oven while he was at it.

We asked him to take a look at my grandma’s washing machine, he did some diagnostics by phone and saved her the call our fee by telling her she’d be better off buying a new washer. A good honest company not looking to rip anyone off.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for repairs to appliances. My tumble dryer belt was replaced quickly and also given full service at no extra cost along with some good advice about keeping it running efficiently and for as long as possible to avoid further issues. No hidden costs and a friendly approach.
