Rumsey's Chocolaterie Thame

Love coming here for a late afternoon tea and cake. Lovely setting with a great atmosphere and almost a cosy feel on a rainy day. Tea pots could be bigger but that’s me being greedy. Scones are lovely. Great music choice.

Very warm welcome by smart and happy waiting staff (best in town) and also excellent coffee (and delicious churros and dipping chocolate).The atmosphere was relaxing, filled with contented conversation in a pleasant space (whilst being enveloped in the delicious aroma of baking brownies!). What more do you need from a cafe? Rumseys is a real treat!

I came here for a chocolate making experience with a group of friends as a surprise they had organised for me. It was absolutely fantastic. They were all so friendly and helpful despite being very busy. We were shown some great techniques and we all had a fantastic time. The chocolate was brilliant quality and absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The hot chocolate came in a tiny cup which at first glance seemed... small. But it turned out to be the perfect size. Rich, tasty and very, very chocolaty. The chocolates were amazing, too. Highly recommended.

If you like cakes and chocolate, this is the place for you! There is a wonderful selection of cakes and chocolates. They also do some lovely hot chocolates. There was lots of seating inside and out. I had an Easter Simal cake, which was delicious. Staff were really friendly.

There's nothing like sitting in a cool Chocolaterie having delicious ice cream on a hot day, especially after doing the Midsomer Murder tour. For those who aren't aware, Rumsey's looks small from the front, but there's ample seating inside.

Amazing desserts and wonderful staff. Can't wait to go back for another piece of their velvety smooth cheesecake, or the perfect sponge that is their walnut coffee cake!

A true treasure of a place in Thame. Great, Welcoming service and a vast range of food and drink to choose from to cater to all. I had the Ice cream sundae which was the best I've had in years. Will definitely return once back in the local area!.

The most delicious coffee and chocolates and I had scrambled eggs with salmon which was perfectly cooked. Service great and great procedures in place for a Covid.

Freshly made chocolate, velvety and rich. A variety of different desserts and pastries made fresh every day. Perfect for a Saturday treat after shopping.

Rode a long way to get here but the cake was definitely worth it, sticky toffee tart with ice cream.

Lovely place, and some nice food (deluxe sausage roll, bacon sandwich, pistachio macaroons, coffee and a hot chocolate. We'll organised for covid too.
