Had the ultimate breakfast..

Cooked to perfection, Really nice, Great tasting sausages ,bacon and hash browns..Baked beans were nice (don't normally like beans) eggs weren't over cooked... definitely will come again!!

After a very tasty breakfast we visited the farm shop. Came away with a vanilla and strawberry sponge and many ideas for Christmas presents.
Reasonable prices and many "bring your own container" ranges.
Will definitely go again.

Called in today Sunday just before they stopped serving cooked food. Staff were excellent, food was very good, especially the all day breakfast. Cooked to order even at that late time. Would certainly call in again!

An amazing place with super helpful and friendly staff - Vernon was in particular a very pleasant chap and was very nice to chat to as we packed my shopping.

The quality of the food and variety was excellent - we bought one of the frozen free range meals for dinner, and the entire family was very impressed (not always an easy feat!)

Would thoroughly advise popping in on your way past. Well worth a stop.

First time visiting the farm shop and noticed what an amazing variety of non food product you have. Really enjoyed the Yvonne Ellen range which is hard to buy within this area. Good looking fresh meat counter and an extensive variety of local meat and produce. The warmness and friendly nature of the staff made for an excellent shopping trip.

There was even a young man doing a litter pick who helped me put my shopping in my car!

We dropped in for a pie for supper, came out with a full hand basket. The food just looked too good, everything from the fresh meats , pie department, fresh baked bread and cakes that just made you drool . Amazing selection of frozen meals and dessert, really looked yummy and interesting as well as unusual flavour combinations, especially the curries. Also large selection of local and English wine and booze and non alcoholic drinks including fill your own fresh milk.
Very smart new shop and café all easily accessible, car parking a little tight for larger cars & SUVs. Impossible to drop in for a look without treating yourself.

I have just received my third order of pies from Jon Thorner's and once again the quality and service has been excellent. The online order process is easy and the delivery always turns up on the day stated at the time of ordering.
We think that these pies are probably the best we've ever tried, hence we are now returning customers. There is a good variety to choose from and all pies come in three different sizes to satisfy individual needs. We have tried all but the Beef & Stilton, all have been lovely, well filled with plenty of good quality meat and the shortcrust pastry is beautiful. Each pie come individually boxed and sealed so can go straight into the freezer.
Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

This was my 1st order, I heard about them
through Ladbaby on Instagram and thought I'd give them a go, I was very impressed. They have a good range of items, fresh meat, dairy and their wonderful homemade pies and sausage rolls. Delivery was fast and the items were fresh and cold when received considering I'm in Manchester!!
If I'm ever in Somerset I'll pay a visit. I'm sure I'll be making another order quite soon!! Thank you

Used to buy here often on way back from weymouth but its been almost 10 years since last shopped here. Had a chat with the butcher always worth doing as they have a wealth of knowledge as I know from the last 40 years of learning from various ones. Bought a couple of rib eye steaks with lovely marbling, cooked them tonight so tender beautiful. Have the brisket for tomorrow, so looking forward to it.

I was very impressed withy order on delivery. Good communication to let me know when my order would be delivered, and extremely well packaged. Shame one of my cheeses was out of stock, but refund given. Would definitely order again.

Great shop for the unusual, the tasty items. Meat, frozen meals biscuits crackers a multitude of items. My visit was to pick up some very yummy oat and honey biscuits and a bottle of South African wine the wife and I enjoy.
The Diner next door offers great meals at reasonable prices

Received our first order from Thorners after tasting a quiche at a friends. Delivery and packaging both excellent! The food was of very good quality and the cheese and onion quiche is the best I have tasted! Will certainly use them again.

Actually it's about Thorner's meat pies and quiches. They are the best we ever taste. We live in Surrey and whenever we visit relatives near Bath we stock up with Thorner's pies and quiches for our freezer. It would be great if we could order them on line Amazon like for home delivery. We can do this with fish from Cornwall and would love to be able to do the same with Thorner's products . Any likelihood Mr Thorner ?

We had never heard of 'Jon Thorners' until we had a long weekend break in Somerset two years ago. We purchased some local produce sausages from a shop and were blown away by the quality. Since then; we purchase ALL of our sausages from Thorners. Prices are reasonable (you get what you pay for) and home delivery is handled efficiently and timely. Highly recommended.

Always get our meat here, great choice, value for money and a wide range of groceries. Yes top end but, shop wisely and you can get closer to supermarket prices than you think, especially if you stock up for three months and then there's the quality of the meat!!
