I went into C&E with a switched under shelf lighting fitting which was not working. Although they advised me they did not have a compatible replacement for the discontinued unit, the assistant set about making adjustments to the contacts which had gone out of alignment. After much patience and perseverance he got it going and replaced the bulbs with LED’s tested okay. Now refitted to the wall unit and all good!! I could not have done this without the help of C&E amazing friendly service thank you so much!!! 😊

Today I brought in my rocksalt lamp which wasn't working. I was unsure if it was the bulb or fuse. They did all the tests and it turned out to be a faulty switch. Dispite being short staffed they managed to fix it the same day and it only cost £3.50! Absolutely blown away by the great price, genuine help ,care and brilliant customer service they provided. Very very happy to have my rock salt lamp up and running again . Many thanks ❤😊

We went to Woking shop today for advice on a light my wife wanted to put in her Japanese garden lantern. The chap in the shop spent a lot of time with us weighing up the various options. When the unit we thought was best appeared not to be working, and as there were no more in stock, he phoned the Byfleet branch where we got what we wanted and the attached photo shows the brilliant result. Thanks to all for being so patient with us. We are very happy with the service you provided.

I needed my lamp rewired and they were the only ones who would help me. They did it in record time and also had all the unusual light bulbs I required. Great shop, would highly recommend.

Absolutely first class service from really helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff. We called initially to see if C&E would be able to help with a faulty old character chandelier which I had tried to rewire without success. Rob was really helpful and said to bring it into the shop for them to look at and evaluate. To cut a long story short John totally rewired, relamped and PAT tested two chandeliers for me and they are like new. They are like new now. Highly recommended.

Excellent local electrical supplier. Super customer service, friendly team who are very knowledgeable. Their products are far superior to the usual suspects and some are modular, so you only need to replace the bits that are broken. Support local and shop here!

Excellent. Sells to individuals and trade. Had a blown bathroom swivel downlight. Needed replacement but company had gone bust so minimal technical details. Couldn't get one at Screwfix or Wickes. Not only did C&E have equivalent replacements in stock but they gave fitting tips. Also cheaper than nearest match from Screwfix.

Charlie and his colleagues are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It’s a joy coming to the store!

I have been using this shop for many years for minor house electrical issues as i am not a professional electrician. In all the years I have had nothing but excellent service, good honest friendly professional advice over all my issues. I cannot recommend them enough and have no hesitation in returning again and again. Their prices are excllent so that I have never felt I am being ripped off. You can as a layman outline your problem and you will receive good unbiased advice.Oh I wish life was all like that?

Just went to the Woking branch for advice on my downstairs lights - the result of a broken switch and a shoddy repair from an emergency electrician!
Not only did they take the time to fully test my old switches and provide a suitable replacement, they checked the wiring picture I showed them and advised on what had gone wrong in the repair and explained exactly what was needed to get us up and running again. Unbelievably fantastic service and such a knowledgeable team.
Will be coming back for recommendations for emergency backups when my usual electrical is away next time too!!!

I could not ask for better service. Phoned with issue with two sets of festoon lights Told to bring it in and problem was fixed and ready to collect, fully working, within a couple of hours. Absolutely amazing service. Highly recommended!

These guys had exactly what we needed in stock (CEF and Rexel didn't), prices were reasonable for a cash account, and fantastic local service. Deffinately recommend and we will be using them again.

I've been using the Woking and the Byfleet branch of this company from when they started trading and I've always found the staff to be extremely friendly knowledgeable and the products second-to-none I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
