It was a solid ride and quite long which I enjoyed. Them playing the theme as you start was a great choice. There was a lot of variety from being inside to outside, complemented by a lot of loops to prolong the excitement. Worth noting that you might experience head/neck pain as you'll probably bang your head a bit given the speed.

One of the best coasters in the park for sure. Great theming and so much fun to ride.

Fairly comfortable for a larger person with larger legs like myself. It's a little squeeze but not super tight for me! Once locked in it's very secure and great to ride.

Queue fills up fast!

The layout for this ride is amazing, it can be rough sometimes and does make me think if I should put my head forward or backwards. The theming for this ride is great and being a fan of the saw franchise I really love this saw experience and feel like I'm part of a movie. There is a point in the queue line where a gun sound effect is played and absolute scared the **** out of me and friend and the stairs to the platform is incredible with references and moments from the saw franchise waiting for the ride is very tense and suspenseful as the timer is displayed above the cars which really gives the feel of being in a saw trap. Leaving the station in the pitch dark is one of the best feelings and really got my heart beating. The first drop in the dark may be my favourite element of any ride at Thorpe Park and it really put force on my body and I really thought the saw was going to cut off all of our heads. The vertical lift hill is petrifying and just when for a split second you think you can get a lovely view of the park you are dropped into the lovely loop and the rest of the ride is very impactful and gives a great view of Hyperia and when built will be the best view of the park. The music of this ride is absolutely incredible and really gives the tense atmosphere that the films and manage to capture and really achieves the scary and eerie atmosphere.
Absolutely incredible and easily in the top 3 rides at Thorpe park👏🙌

Great ride, sadly closed on my last visit. Been rough in 2023, showing it’s age now. Still a great ride with amazing theming towards the saw films!

This ride is smooth and thrilling. Although you get inverted in loops and drops, it doesn't chuck you around like some of the others.
The theming is brilliant, even in the queue on the way in and I'd love to be there on a Fright Night event when there's more scary things about.
I would possibly suggest they could go a bit further with the entertainment effects and make them more related to the movie series but it doesn't NEED it, just a thought.
Queue times obviously depend on what day you go but we waited a maximum of 10 minutes all day, for any ride.
Definitely worth a visit.

Love this ride, its abit bumpy and clunky when you go round but great build up before you get on it,the best bit I think is the first drop in the pitch dark at the start as you don't see it coming also the first climb up the vertical straight which is scary before the big straight down drop, overall a good coaster but over very quick

Brilliant experience, even the queue is quality. Didn't disappoint once you get on the ride itself either. There's lots of surprises and the highlight isn't the more than vertical drop that towers above the park, good though that is.

No criticisms whatsoever. Really enjoyed it and definitely a park highlight for almost all ages.

Go try it out!

I recently visited Thorpe Park and had the opportunity to experience one of their best rides, Saw. As soon as I stepped onto the ride, I was immediately taken aback by the intensity of the experience. It starts off slowly, but the speed quickly picks up and I found myself screaming as I was flung around the track. The track itself is full of loops and sharp turns that are sure to thrill even the most seasoned roller coaster enthusiasts. The experience is further enhanced by the theming of the ride, which is based on the horror movie of the same name. In addition to the thrilling ride itself, there are plenty of other attractions to keep you entertained, from the interactive games to the food and drinks available. All in all, I had an amazing time at Thorpe Park and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adrenaline-filled day out.

Our favourite ride at thorpe park.....we went beginning of October, we waited no more than 10/15 minutes for each ride, kids all loved it aged 16,14 & 11

The queue on a busy day is more scary than the very short ride, but of course it’s worth coming on this ride on a quiet day as the ride is a little scary the first time you come on it and aren’t aware of all the jump scares

A great ride. Definitely one of my favourites (Swarm, nemesis inferno and saw).

Fantastic ride and the most intense ride in the park but it is extremely temperamental and it's a coin flip on whether you get a smooth ride or a rough ride that could put a halt to your rides for the day. A gamble, but a worthy one as it really is such a fun ride

Was a good ride, queuing times are absolutely ridiculous though.
Lots of rides there's but can't get on most due to how long you spend queuing.

very very very well themed - and the best bit is that it needs no maintenance as the more decayed it looks, the better for the theme. Merlin onto a winner there 😝. Ride is SO good - really jolty (you dont expect smooth), really up/downy with some nice twists and inversions. Went several times in a day!
love that the theming is consistent even after the ride.
Wueues get very very long, i recommend fast passing this one!

I am a roller coaster enthusiast and when I see a well themed roller coaster like saw I am over the moon, the last ride I went on was smooth as butter. Just be ready for the steep drop as you go out the station and brace yourself. Staff were helpful and nice. Sadly with gas track we still had to queue for about 15-20 mins but other than that it was amazing
