ALDI

I took a Groupon tour of the behind the scenes staff area. It was most informative.. I imagined it to somewhat resemble the original movie of Charlie and the chocolate factory. I was not disappointed.. so much fun! Though there was no glass elevator, I was able to ascend in a cherry picker to the top shelves and at the very top where, to my surprise, a young man served prosecco between pallets of biscuits and spices. An excellent tour to get a taste of the well flexed muscles and iron like bones beneath the delicate, sun blushed, youthlike skin of Aldi.

This aldi has had a much needed spruce, and seems to have given it a bit more of a professional feeling, moving away from that "discount store" vibe. Its always well stocked, clean and tidy. Has a great selection of lunchtime meals, which is great for hospital staffers.

I was in Derby, so I used this branch instead of Burton's. One Aldi is like the rest great value.

Not been for a while, it felt dark and stressful in there. I didnt like it. Bit confusing trying to find the enterance to the car park off the huge roundabout! I found it in the end tho! U have to stay in the left lane and cut behind the shop.

Nice place to get your shopping done

I traveled 56miles in order to ascertain the quality of this supermarket experience and I’m glad I did. All refrigerators come equipped with the latest in efficiency maintenance technology as well as the finest concrete flooring. The product range varied and quality ranged from b&m to m&s standards as usual for Aldi. The staff still seemed to hold a good proportion of their souls that other supermarket staff inevitably loose over time,(this will likely be the same fate for these hard working individuals) however the store is relatively new and so some remanence remains. I found myself becoming quite excited around the milk isle as per usual for myself at the perusal of cow water for it to diminish shortly after, roughly around chocolate and sweets isle. Upon penetration of the household items isle (also known as useless items you would never normally ever need or want but feel compelled to buy due to proximity) I felt the excitement welling up inside me once again due to the prospect of buying drill bits that only fit one specific Chinese drill that they do not stock at Aldi or the array of sanding pads that don’t fit any known sander, even the ones they do sell at Aldi. Upon payment for my goods of which I only purchased half of what I needed due to them not stocking specific everyday items I took my leave from this Aldi store and with my faith in humanity and hope for a better future restored and the prospect of a future visit tantalising my thoughts I drove out of the awkwardly small and laid out car park to venture to Tesco where I purchased everything else I was unable to obtain.

Good value for money store, though you may need wicket keeper's gloves to get your food into your trolley post scanning.

They have more stuff than most Aldi.

Happy very friendly staff lots more merchandise than my local one.
