Brilliant staff - especially the friendly Michelle. We had a great breakfast yet again. Thank you guys. Will definitely come again - even though this is our third time in 2 weeks!!!

Lauren went out of her way to make sure my allergies were catered for so I could have the same meal as my grandmother. The team kept us updated about the timeframes & were very attentive.
Really great food, everything cooked well and hot.
The team checked in with us throughout the visit to make sure everything was satisfactory.

Absolutely love this gem of a spot! I visit here quite often due to its unbeatable combination of a welcoming atmosphere, great staff, fantastic pricing, and delicious food that never fails to impress.
A special shoutout to Lucy M for outstanding service that makes you feel right at home. She truly knows how to make guests feel incredibly welcome. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

It is a great bar/restaurant with great value menu and decent drinks. The new Marston's 61 Deep on tap is 3.8% and a really nice pale ale. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Sunday carvery is really good value and the portions are huge, with an option to pay more for extra meat. Good selection of vegetables. Very tasty and filling are a long walk. Serving staff very welcoming and friendly. Good social distancing measures in place.

Have returned multiple times since original review, just as good each time. Excellent food. The app is excellent as you can offers sometimes up to 50% off and has a loyalty scheme.

Another fabulous visit - food was of good quality fresh and hot. Lots of choice available and not forgetting the friendly young lady called Grace that served our table. Will will be back 😁

Fab table for 6 (number 11). Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Love the fried bread! Replenished bread for toast when asked. Glad you don't have sachets for sauce. Pity you only had tea and filter coffee today though!

We have visited 4 times since December. Always been happy with the food and service. I must say Nico has outstanding customer service and nothing is ever to much. Always polite. Every time we have been he has always been the same even when rushed off his feet. Definitely should be recognised as an asset to the company

Visited for Birthday breakfast. The restaurant was very busy but the service was great. Food tasted good, hot and fresh. Service was speedy
Michelle was friendly and courteous.
We were welcomed by Tom the manager who was polite and welcoming.

Lovely food, extremely friendly staff specially a lady called Michelle, I have an autistic boy so being out can become overwhelming for him, Michelle made our visit very pleasurable and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful experience, food was delicious as always and we were specially treat by Fay and Debbie who were funny and kind making sure we were all happy and cared for. Felt very welcoming and at ease, thank you both!

delicious food, I ordered veggie dippers, a plant based chicken breast, philly cheese fries, and it was lovely.
The staff are very accommodating and nice, particularly Michelle, who served me. Overall, I had a nice experience and I would recommend this wholesome restaurant to a friend.

The lady’s where very helpful that work there..however on booking we asked for a window seat and then got shoved in a two seat table…you do know even couples need a little bit more space sometimes…and to top it off nobody even appeared on the two tables opposite us that where positioned by the window and we sat there for almost an hour 🙄

Came for breakfast with the girls and it was lovely. Special shout out to Michelle who was on shift she was very friendly and polite. She made sure we had everything we could possibly need and made it a very pleasant visit

Myself and my friend have been having dinner at Bartlewood Lodge for quite a few years now and I thought I should write a review. We have always had a good top of the range experience there. Nicko the Concierge who greets us at the door is always polite, courteous, friendly and gets us seats and shows us the way. He is a top Concierge, he is always very professional. Hes always helping people. My friend likes table 42 and if free then Nicko always accommodates. He could quite easily be working in a 10 million Michelin Star Restaurant in France. Lucy S behind the bar and working around the restaurant is extremely polite and helpful. She always greets us with a smile and asks how we are. She does her job I have noticed with care and attention to making myself and friends enjoy our meals. Hayley is always doing an excellent job and making the place nice to eat at and is always going out of her way to make your time cozy and clean. Theres a young lad there too sometimes, I think his names Jason, he clears the plates and is always running about helping . He is very friendly polite and helpful too. All the staff are great and the Chefs always carve with good portions unlike other restaurants who hack at the meats! All in all I give them top marks and hope to keep coming as long as I can.

I am a regular at bartlewood, but on the 24th February we came for a meal for my son’s birthday. Michelle the lady who assisted us with ordering, she was so professional, very kind and helpful. She made us feel very welcome and she has an amazing personality.
The food is also amazing, also good portions and very tasty too.

I have recently visited bartlewood lodge, and oh my word was it amazing. I was served by Lucy M who was just the best. She was friendly, interactive and overall just amazing. I would recommend you give them a visit if you haven’t already.

Came here with my mum on a Friday lunch time. The food was SO good! We're both obsessed with a good carvery, and you blew us away. 2 clean plates. Absolutely beautiful! Staff were nice and friendly too. We'll definitely be returning.
