Showcase Cinema de Lux Derby

Regulary visit during the week on a 241 with Meerkat..its been £5.99 to watch a film during the day so works out at a very good price and an opportunity to see great films on the big screen for us! Grab a hot chocolate at Costa..whats not to like?!...May I say that the staff are brilliant too!

Had a great experience. Family and kids, we all went to watch Wonka. We all loved it. The sound was right, not too loud. The seats were comfortable. The screen was perfect. The only thing was that one of our drinks was watery. Always remember to taste your drink before going in or before the movie starts.

I went to to the cinema to watch a children's film and when I went to pay it was quiet and the cinema was not too busy. You can get natchos and popcorn 🍿 and different sorts of sweet treats and a selection of drinks there too. They also have a pick and mix but it is expensive the food and drink is more expensive than the shops stuff. You can take your own food and drinks in with you too.

Good place to watch movie. However seats were dirty and it cost £80 to watch a movie for 5 without popcorn or drinks. So not going back to this place

Love it here staff are very helpful and the toilets are very handy being right nxt to the cinemas so you don't miss to much of the film

Still looking good, easy to park, lots of choice all the makings of a good family event. Wide range of snacks and treats, drinks including a cheeky tipple in the director's lounge or bar area. Organised, polite and helpful staff. Toilets are clean and well maintained.

Wow, l know l haven't been to the cinema in 10 years but blooming heck it's changed! BIG comfortable chairs each with own wide arm rest and moverable small trays, the chairs vibrated with the film, loads of leg room and no issue trying to see over the person in fronts head as the top of their chair is at your foot level. My only concern was when a action scene happened the volume went up to a level which hurt my ears a bit.
I saw Top Gun 2, highly recommend film and cinema A*****

Love coming here with Mum for decent action/sci-fi/Horror films, helps having an insider card to reduce cost of drinks and snacks, staff are always polite and friendly. Plenty of bins for waste, toilets are always clean.

Only complaint is (and probably can't be helped during all viewings) is people coming in and gabbing or squeaking their seats, playing on their phones, or even vaping through out the film, ruining it for everyone else.

For being in the upper area of a shopping centre it's a pretty big and really amazing cinema. And they seem to offer more to watch when it comes to cinema releases which makes this another hit cinema to experience.

It was a monday afternoon when i went so not many people were in customer wise but the staff were all smiling and polite very helpful and the film was ace i know thats besides the point but the equaliser 3 is a must watch if you havnt already seen it

Plenty food and drink options(a little pricey but isn't overspending on a huge bucket of popcorn part of the cinema experience?!)
Best of all, the parking was very reasonable!
Staff are on hand to answer any queries.
The deluxe seat's are absolutely marvellous. Enough space for restless legs, walking sticks, coats bags & other personal items.
However big our TVs are, you still can't beat a night out at the flicks.
For those of us who venture out rarely, Derby Intu didn't disappoint.

Staff are friendly, quick and easy to get tickets and food . IMAX was probably the best screen I've seen in a long time would highly recommend

We were a party of 6 and we booked seats in the directors lounge. Seats were large and comfy we had the place almost to ourselves. Only small niggle was the tray. It would not stay where it was put, and almost spilled my drink and popcorn. Other than that we all had a great night.

We had a great experience on Wednesday morning. Watched 3d XPlus Avatar. Nice clean cinema, not busy. Popcorn and cola good too. Happy with everything. Thank you
