Morrisons Daily

I think it’s lovely in there. All the staff are friendly and talkative making it a welcoming place. Fast service on the tills as well as someone else around to help you if you need it. Very nice and my favourite shop in Thame!

I don’t normally post reviews but Morrisons daily is one of the best things to come to Thame!! The staff are always happy and willing to help at any time. Tyler done an amazing job with that place, I recently popped in on Monday and him and Casey I believe were so energetic and happy. Such a great atmosphere

Tyler and his team member saved me tonight when we forgot it was Sunday and we Ran out of baby milk formula. There was no one on the shelf. Tyler’s assistant went to have a look and couldn’t find any out back. Tyler went and looked also after by himself and found the one we needed. As it was a Sunday and about 9:25 they was closing soon but despite being busy stocking up and cashing up they managed to serve me and went above and beyond. Thanks guys appreciate it very much. You saved me and my fiancé from a bad night sleep. 😴

The staff in the post office are absolutely fantastic. They are efficient and incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had issues with a parcel that was being delivered and they were fantastic at resolving the issue. Excellent team.

Much better store after the re fit. Great range of products and it’s helpful it’s open till late evening on Sundays. Quick and helpful service too

It changed from McColl’s and now Morrisons Daily is a refreshing new store with the Post Office service inside and more products availability for customers to buy.

Great that the store is open late, even on a Sunday

This store was formerly Martins Newsagents but fortunately it was taken over by Morrisons when they went bankrupt.

It is now a mini supermarket with newsagents and a Post Office Counter at the back. It has a good range of items on sale for its size and staff are friendly and helpful.

The Post Office Counter is usually busy and this will only get worse when the last back in town closes later this year (2024.)

What lets this store down dramatically is that it is dreadfully understaffed. When you have people who want to pop in and grab a meal deal, collect and drop off parcels or send post or draw their pension, you cannot run the store with a shift of one or two staff members. Locals told me there's regularly a long wait in a queue as there just aren't enough staff on shift to cover everything.
The young lad staffing the till when I visited was racing around trying to keep everyone happy, a real credit to the company, but it is not fair to the staff or the customer for that to be a regular situation.
Other than this problem, it is a well-stocked store with a great variety of food and drink for its size, in a convenient location right in the middle of Thame and a few seconds walk from free public parking.

Store is ok as opens nice time in the morning! I feel bad sometimes going in as some of the staff look really unhappy to be there! quite negative atmosphere at times.

A large newsagent located in the middle of Thame town centre. It stocks lots of newspapers, magazines, snacks, drinks, as well as stationery and birthday cards. Anything that doesn't have a price printed on it tends to be expensive, however. Drinks and confectionery are often twice the price of nearby stores for example, and it's not as if you're paying a premium for good service either, as some of the staff can occasionally come across as rather rude.
