O2 Shop Stamford

I visited this O2 shop on Monday 27 November 2023 to see whether there would be any benefit in replacing my O2 SIM card, which was about 7 years old. I was served by Ian, whose manner and service were excellent. He explained to me that my old SIM card would not be 5G compatible, so there would definitely be a benefit. Having carried out all the necessary security checks, he exchanged my SIM for me and explained that I should put my phone into and out of flight mode a few times in order to speed up the activation of the new SIM card. This worked a treat and the SIM card became active after only a couple of mins (O2 warns you that it can take up to 24 hours). I was really happy with Ian and the quality of his customer service. My only point of note for this admittedly small O2 shop is that they really do need a couple of chairs to allow elderly customers to sit and wait before being served, as they can be quite busy. Space is a bit tight in the shop but I'm sure they could find the room to do this and it would really help older or disabled customers.

Because of the virus had to wait to get into the shop,which wasn't a problem as it was a one to one once l got in. My phone problem was dealt with quickly with me having a new sim card and a reduction in my tariff,well done for a great service!Gordon
