Asda Fareham Superstore

Just had a wonderful women help me discretly get a christmas present for my little one while he was there. She's working today short black hair at the kiosk! A massive thank you to her for going above and beyond!!!

Was trying to make a custom cake and couldn't work out the machine. A really kind lady from the bakery team came and guided me through the entire process. She was so patient with helping me finalise the design and find good matches for the image I had chosen for the cake. I was so pleased with how it came out. I think her name was Rebecca or Rachael.

Shopping at 2am in the morning is amazing, helpful staff, stock on the shelves, you do have to negotiate pallets and cages in and around the store, but nothing is obstructed :) there is a staff member on one of the tills but it's mainly self service and NO queues!
No screaming kids, or people stood in the middle of aisles discussing life!
All in all a good time to shop :)

A good asda store. Huge range of things you will likely need.. And being open 24 hours... I think 5 days a week, makes it even more helpful. I happened to wander on at about 3am one time, not long ago, seeking a gift for my sister. I was looking for a nice watch... Sadly they didn't have any, not their fault, they lose no points for this (I got her a nice one in the end... Which I suddenly realise I shouldn't reveal the type there is that small chance she could find out from this review!) anyway, I had finished work, day off next day so I went off to see what books and games etc they had. Well... Turned out they have a 'used' DVD section. Used, but they are still sealed... And I got the Directors Cut, 2 disk version (with commentary.. Not on all versions)... Of. Das Boot! One of the best war films and likely THE best submarine film ever made. I think it cost about £2. Yeah, charity shop prices... In. Asda.. At 2 or 3 am. Only hiccup... Went to self service, as staff are all busy doing stock and the like at that hour... And of course 'computer says no' because the film has a 15 rating, they need to make sure a 13 year old isn't trying to buy a copy of Das Boot at 3am on some random rainy Wednesday. The lady who came over and released the item though, was totally loveley, when she could rightfully have been a bit annoyed.
Anyway. That's what happened lost time I was there. It was an all round positive experience!

10 weeks I was fobbed off by customer services online and the phone in relation to a faulty product. 10 minutes in store, 2 friendly helpful ladies, an apology and a resolution, thankyou. Great job Asda Newgate Lane

I cannot thank the staff and honesty especially the trolley collector who handed my handbag in that I had left on the trolley. Well done you are a star! Would have bought you a drink had I known your name. I hope you have a lovely Christmas you deserve it.

Did a click and collect today, have done before, the staff are always quick, friendly, chatty and excellent service. Lee today brought my shopping to my car, very fast, a credit to the store as all your staff are, brilliant people. I'm Phil Dinham. Great work guys

I recently spent 10 days in hospital and although I tried to get some shopping upon being discharged from the ward, I was taken ill and had to return home.

After 8 days I felt well enough to try again, but again I became unwell and although I had completed my shopping I felt too weak to complete the bagging process. This was at 03:30ish.

I asked a young lady called Rachael for some water and although they do not have any outlet for it, she told me to be seated and went and found me a paper cup with water.

Not only that, but she arranged for a male colleague (didn't get a name) to put my shopping through for me.

Fantastic service and as a disabled pensioner something I am extremely grateful for.

Large store with large capacity car park. Has a mezzanine floor which houses the clothes and home departments, with the ground floor servicing everything else. Sporting a large selection of adult beverages, the choice of occasional and responsible drink is excellent. Staff always polite and helpful.

Really helpful staff in the bakery yesterday, couldn't work out the photo cake machine and without me even asking, someone came over and helped me.
I think her name was Katrina? Really friendly and really helpful. Cake was quick too! Thank you 😊😊😊

Massive store, has almost everything under the sun. Store always looks clean, though sometimes the shelves can be a bit empty in places. Staff has always been a pleasure over the years and the prices always reasonable.

I only ever use asda for my shopping, I prefer the quality and convenience all the assistants are happy to help and very approachable

The lady on the till made the usual small talk which I usually find tedious, but then she started telling me how bored she was and how she didn't want to work there anymore. As someone who's recently escaped a job with a similar feeling, I rated that attitude and her honestly highly. I'm sure her superiors wouldn't but personally I found it hilarious

Easy parking and a wide range of stock to satisfy household restock needs

I would just like to say a Big Big thank you to all The Click and Collect Staff at Asda Fareham. You have done an excellent job over this Pandemic period always happy and ready to sort everybody's shopping with a lovely smile 😃and always happy to help with order's. During doing this Click and collect I couldn't get my ingredient Aromat but as always it got sorted and a happy customer now. So a big thumbs up Asda Fareham 👍🤩. To all your staff at Asda you have worked very hard and enjoy your well earnt time off 🎄🎅

I have used the click and collect service for several years but must praise Wayne who is currently operating the service in Fareham Asda. He is efficient, polite, and a great improvement to the somewhat hit and miss service I have historically received. Thank you..

my local grocery store, do the bulk of my shopping there. helpful staff, prices are good, aswell as the selection. only setback is having to queue for 20mins plus to exit the carpark if you pick the wrong weekend of the month to shop. apart from that a great place to shop!

Its undoubtedly one of the best supermarkets to park in. It was recently redesigned to give more space to each car. The shop it self is bright and happy with very helpful staff.

Would not go to another shop quality quanity price clothes are all a very reasonably cheap. Ehich all sorts of people. I love it.
And for the garage petrol i wouldn't go anywhere else. No-one ever gets below it. Thank you so much Asda. For being you

The Asda cafe was excellent today. Particular mention for the lady behind the counter. She was happy and helpful, quick and courteous. Food was all fresh and hot.
