Port Solent - The Boardwalk Shopping Centre

Free parking, lots of restaurants to choose from, balcony table dining & fantastic views.
Blissful place to visit, more so when the weather is nice. Dining choices from cheap and cheerful to more sophisticated - quiet areas and music in others, something for everyone I expect.

If I'm honest, there are very few actual shops, however, there are lots of really nice restaurants that cover so many different types of cuisine. You can have Italian (O Sole Mio), Brazilian BBQ (Casa Brasil), Mediterranean tapas (La Casa Flamenca), Indian (Prachee), burgers (Bangerz n Burgerz) and many other foods found at Harvester, Wetherspoons and Wildwood. They also have a number of ice cream stores too. Whilst eating, you get to enjoy the great views of the marina and at times enjoy the live music on show. Some weekends are busier than others with car shows but I'd highly recommend going to that. If you need to get to the top level, and stairs are a bit tricky, they have a lift or you can use the ramp at the end of the car park to go on the top level.

Amazing place with lots of boats to add beauty to the watery landscape. Tons of restaurants serving great food while you watch the sunset overlooking the boats.

Lovely view of marina, plenty of good shops including Cotton Traders, and Pavers . Lots of nice restaurants including Weatherspoons, Casa Brasilia, etc. Free parking.

We were staying at the Premier Inn, Portsmouth because our motorhome needed warranty repairs. It was somewhat cold, a little windy but the sun was brightly shining. We decided to walk to the Solent. The Boardwalk shopping complex has nice eating and drinking places plus other shops for clothes etc. Here are some of the pics I took.

We stayed overnight in the car park in our camper van and had a very quiet night. You have to phone the security to give them your details when you arrive.

Walked here today as I had some time to kill while my car was in at the garage. Today was the first day that the Portsmouth area has moved from tier 2, into tier 3 of the COVID restrictions. I cannot believe how quiet the place was. I was waiting for the tumble weed to blow past!! It was nice to see the marina and all of the expensive boats, without being surrounded by other people though!!

Came to the Port Solent Car Meet, 2nd and last Sunday of the month, 10am till 12. Free parking. If you're a car fanatic, this is the place to come. Lots of great cars and bikes. Make sure you take a look Sunday's.

Great place to visit. Spoilt for choice for restaurants as well a couple of clothes shops and one shoe shop.
Recommend a stroll around the marina after having a meal or shopping.

Lovely place to go with family , you can shopping, playing in playground, sightseeing, and they have public toilets, restaurants, and of course a lots of boats.

Such a lovely place to be! Beautiful views and some fantastic places to eat.

Beautiful harbour, lots of little shop's, restaurants and a whetherspoons.
all very clean and tidy, lots of boats, yachts in the harbour and large free carpark.

Lots of eateries, pubs, restaurants etc. Pretty little marina. Great location for lunch or an evening meal.

Lots to see and do. Designer shops, restaurants and bars all here. Plenty of toilet around the area and if your interested in going bowling, to the cinema it’s all here too.

Perfect stop for Motorhomes getting on or off the ferry. Phone the office to tell them you're there. Free parking, very quite at night, Wetherspoons
