This reserve is amazing. Even for one like me who is not an expert birdwatcher there is much to admire in the birdlife around the lakes. 189 different species were apparently spotted on this site in 2022. With some help I identified 17 species, so I have some way to go. The nature reserve is split in to separate sections each with a well maintained footpath and several hides. There is an entry fee with a discount available for Senior Citizens.

Love coming down here, by the sea, great nature reserve, well managed, reasonably priced and good knowledge of what's about from the team in the visitor centre

Excellent place for novice bird watching as there are volunteers and other expert visitors happy to point out the hard to spot birds. Loads of butterflies and other wildlife too. Very accessible.

I didn't go in the bird reserve as I was doing a boxing day walk, but saw plenty of ducks and geese coming into roost. A lovely coastal walk and there were wading birds at the sea shore. A good place to blow away the cobwebs!

Beautiful place for bird watching by the seafront. I even saw a Kingfisher for the first time which was a real treat!
The cafe has a great menu to feed the stomach, whilst the gorgeous nature and wildlife feeds the soul.

The Titchfield Haven nature reserve is a great place to take the family. The hides are in good upkeep with plenty of spaces. To sit in the hides is very relaxing. The bird life you can see is all very interesting. The weather was gorgeous when we went. We had a coffee outside. My son and I had a cornish pasty. It was delicious. Tasted homemade and fresh. We will definitely come again. Great place to spend a couple hours.

The staff are all lovely and knowledgeable. The haven itself is pristine and well-maintained, with no litter in sight, ample bird-watching spots and easy-to-use paths. The main building of the haven is also nice, with on-access toilets and a small, but homely café area which offers a range from drinks and snacks to take away on a walk, or more substantial lunches/breakfasts you can sit down and enjoy with lovely views of the waterfront.

Even with two hides closed we had a very pleasant walk around the haven well recommended and not too far a walk. Easy parking on the seafront.

Beautiful views especially on a sunny day. You can see the different colours of the sea and Fawley refinery to one side.

Really lovely spot for birdwatching. This is a paid reserve - ONLY IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO TO THE TRAILS LEADING TO THE LOOKOUTS. if you are an avid birdwatcher, this is what you want to do .

The 'free' trail is nice (can get muddy) and rings the water further inside. So you might still get a glimpse of a nice bird.

I'm definitely coming back

Hides are great for bird watching. Plus there's a few bird feeders around if you want to watch them up close
