After receiving some horrible family news a few months before Christmas, I decided to get an old Gamegear modded as a gift. Before this time, I was aware of Retrosix through their socials, but I had never dealt with them directly. Having now visited their store in Milton, and received the now modded Gamegear, I can honestly say that these guys are simply some of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever dealt with as a customer. These guys don't know me or my family. To them, I'm just a customer bringing them another old piece of 90's hardware to fix up. However, to say they looked after me is an understatement. They exceeded on every level - the workmanship, quality of product, timeliness, and service. Testament to this was on Christmas day when we got to see someone very dear to us smile again as they opened their new Game Gear. Honestly guys, I can't thank you all enough. You'll be sick of me this year as I'll be bringing quite a few of my own consoles in! All the best 👍

I recently had them replace the batteries is some old gameboy cartridges. They responded to my enquiry quickly and the job itself was done in just a few days.
I have some other old games which are in need of a service and once I have gathered them I will certainly be using Retrosix again.

Excellent staff, and knowledge, I've been a few times now to the shop with my game gear for repair or modification and each time I've been very satisfied with the service. Thanks to Luke and Zak for having the patience of me walking in and having the time for looking at my Game Gear . Great communication on discord as well, I've purchased stuff from there website and there eBay , always had very fast delivery.

Ordered a replacement GameCube cable. Fantastic item. Cheap, reliable, arrived really quickly. Excellent service to get a 20year+ console working on a very modern TV. Will be buying more stuff for my retro consoles.

Brought my Game Gear here for a couple of repairs and upgrades and a full service after it had lain untouched for at least 15 years with with a dead capacitor. Fantastic service from the friendliest of staff, who talked me through the parts that needed repair, showing me exactly where the issues were and explaining the repair/replacement process. Would not hesitate to return, and highly recommend to anyone wanting console repairs, or just a good look at the stock of consoles and games from the last few decades. Pleasure to deal with!

My Gameboy colour finally gave up the ghost and I pop in on the off chance they could fix it. Lucky for my they were able to look at it then and there, and next thing it's back working like new! Brilliant customer service and great price.

I recently sent my Atari Jaguar CD unit in for repair earlier this week after paying for their repair service and a recap. I received it back today with a lovely hand-written note explaining what RetroSix had done to fix it and low and behold IT WORKS! A fantastic service, well worth the money and a Happy customer! Highly recommended 😊👍💜

I couldn't thank them enough. I sent my Switch off for repairs else where (see my other reviews to see where), however, it came back with missing Y-Screws, Micro SD Card Slot not working and the CPU was still grinding (which is what it was sent off for in the first place). With my Switch now out of storage space and I couldn't access saved data as well as a very loud fan, I asked on Nintendo Players UK Discord Group for a recommended repair shop, pretty much everyone suggested Retrosix. Everyone said how quick the repairs are, the quality of the work and how reasonable the prices were. If anyone needs a Nintendo Switch repaired, I will be telling them to post it off to here, fantastic service all round.

I recently purchased some items and had a clean screen fitted to my gameboy advance SP. Amazing People.

Top guys with great product knowledge and are more than a bit handy with a soldering station. Did some flawless work on a fairly obscure RGB mod (RGBVDC by CosicasF9) on an N64 for me, looks absolutely superb now going through an upscaler instead of trying to enjoy the terrible composite output the N64 is cursed with. Loads of great retro gaming consoles in store ranging from original hardware to more modern emulation solutions, tons of games, accessories and even a few PVMs on the shop floor for the proper retro gaming enthusiast. Easily one of the best retro gaming shops in the country, a real specialist in the handheld gaming space and a bit of a gem all round. Do yourself a favour and check out their prestige GBA line because the GBA cannot get any better than that. ✌🏻

Took my Nintendo switch in have the charging port replaced because it would not charge told me would be a week. 24hrs later get a message saying all done. Top guys would highly recommend got one happy kid now 👍👍👍

Fixed a fault with my Atari Jaguar. Great value and speedy service. Also email updates through out. Very pleased this is fixed! :)

Would have been nice to have included a note with the console return with a brief description of the repair. But this is a very minor criticism, it just would have been nice to know briefly what was done.

Absolutely FANTASTIC service, highly recommend. Well worth the money. Brought my Xbox Series X in to be fixed, by the time I got home and kicked off my shoes they were calling to say it's fixed. 🥳

Took my Original Gameboy in for a service and new screen, the service was really good. The blokes in there are very knowledgeable and friendly and did an amazing job.

Very friendly staff, good with the kids. Great arcade machine. Kids thought it was "gamer paradise"
