Food from here is always fantastic. Fresh, hot and full of flavour. Staff are always super friendly and helpful and should you opt for home delivery it always arrives quickly. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Wow! The shop is beautiful. Just the right balance of traditional and modern. Extremely clean and lots of comfortable seating for whilst your waiting. food here was piping hot, great service and all the food was flavourful and delicious. Get your orders in quick because it gets quite busy!

Had a really high quality takeaway tonight. Delivered on time. Lots of meat in some really good portion sizes. We massively over ordered but the good news is we get to eat leftovers!

Hands down one of the best Chinese meals I've ever eaten! Everything was fresh and tasty, not greasy or overcooked. We also got a lot of food for the money too, highly recommended!

We have ordered from Lucky Star several times and each time the food has been absolutely delicious. I would go so far to say one of the best Chinese take away we have eaten. Also, they deliver which is an advantage as a lot of their competitors won’t. Paul, the delivery driver is very friendly and the food was piping hot even though he had a fare way to come. Would definitely recommend Lucky Star for quality, service and value.

Had a Chinese here a few weeks ago when staying in Newton abbott. This was honestly one of the best Chineses I have ever tried, food was delicious, and portion size was really good for the price, will definitely be returning on the next visit here

Fantastic takeaway! Was my first time ordering and since I’m vegetarian I wasn’t expecting much, but the staff were all very helpful. Especially the youngest member, Crankal, who guided me through the many vegetarian options that they have. Food was delicious and piping hot! Fab job guys

Fantastic! Just visiting the area so ordered on a bit of a whim. Sweet and sour sauce was fruity and tasty... crispy chili beef up there with best I've had from a takeaway. Nice and spicy too... ordered for collection... was ready when I arrived... got it home and opened it to find it still piping hot 🔥 great job guys!

Wasn’t expected much but I wask in shock. I got a delivery from very far away and arrived in 10mins! The staff was very friendly and humble especially their youngest worker named crankal who guided me through my order. I opened the door to a juicy delicious Chinese food and a gift card as I was theyre 1000th customer and they hit a milestone. I am so impressed and will definitely order again soon.

Really like the ability to order online, and the food is consistent and tasty. Delivery drivers always polite, as well as staff in shop when we are less lazy and collect 😂
