This is a beautiful course to play and very relaxed. At the first hole were a pair of deer! With stunning views over Cramond Island, this superbly kept course never disappoints. I should probably recommend the upstairs cafe for a bite to eat afterwards.

Beautiful Day ar Silverknowes! Didn't golf today but my husband was wishing he was out there hitting a few balls. He used to play here as a young man and has a few if his pictures on the wall!

Friendly staff. Very reasonable pricing. Club rental. Good holes nothing super challenging except 16. Everything was in great shape at the end of may.

Didn't play the course though it looks in great condition I went for the cafe upstairs. 2 Bacon rolls 2 coffees £6:80 the bacon was just how I like it (very crispy) First class and the staff were very helpful. WORTH A WEE VISIT but I think it's only open between 10:30- 2:30 at the moment and I think they do party's of more than 4 As there were tables put together for ten when I went. Keep up the good work xx update the course is in excellent condition sand and rakes in all bunkers greens are fast fairways lush well worth a visit

Right price; well kept course. Perfect for high handicappers and junior golfers, as forgiving fairways and limited rough. Lovely views and friendly staff. Thank you.

Amazing place to golf! Wonderful view! But be careful if you're a casual player because of the wind... for experienced players 😉

Maxine's Cafe is superb. She is very friendly and helpful and is a great cook. If one sits right at the windows they get an impressive 180° view of the course as well as the Forth bridges, Dalmeny Estate and the disused Lauriston pastures visible at one end, the Kingdom of Fife and the river Forth central, and the impressive edwardian Granton Gas Holder and the North Sea on the other.

This is a review for the café only. We stopped off there on a group cycle. The café enjoys a stunning view across the Firth of Forth looking North. We had a coffee, tea and and a breakfast roll with two fillings all for £5. This represents very good value. There is a limited range of coffees on offer so you will be disappointed if you are expecting a variety of coffees as per Costa. The service was friendly and efficient. There are some toys there for children under three/four. Also, today's Sun and Daily Record papers were available to read. There is a lounge area as well with comfy sofas if you prefer.

Great pay and play course with stunning views. Some fun and interesting holes. Course never in perfect condition as it’s a public course but that is fairly reflected in the price. I love playing here where I learnt the game and I always enjoy coming back!!

Used to live on Muirhouse Parkway. Love Silverknowes golf club. My dad was a member there about 30 years ago as we're my husband, brother-in-law and father-in-law. Many happy memories.

I grew up near this course and still love the views you get over to Fife. It's a nice, wide, open course with plenty of room to go wrong and still find your ball - definitely recommended, particularly to relative beginners like myself!

Excellent golf course for a council run facility. Great views over the Forth to Fife etc, even more magical as you are on the flight path into Edinburgh Airport

Another enjoyable round at this council run course. Whilst at the recent rain made a lot of the green fairly damp the overall course conditions were great.
