Excellent shop

I got this company to fit new carpets and vinyl in our caravan however, they cut my new seating area with a Stanley blade when cutting the carpet and left the vinyl In a real mess.
I call the owner on several occasions and was told that they would return and either fix the issues or replace them which has never happened.
Due to the caravan season being seasonal it has now been over a year I have been asking for this to be looked at.
This is the last place I would buy anything from again so please save yourself the grief as when buying things are all great once money is paid you will get nothing but false promises.
I have now had to go elsewhere to get the issues repaired with another company who have stated this is not the first they have had to attend to sort there mess.

We had horrific customer service here. Terrible communication after our bedside table didn't arrive after the expected 6 weeks, everytime I called they said they would need to check with someone else and get back to me, but never did. After 4 months of this I asked for a refund and the staff member said the manager wasn't in but he would leave a note and no-one replied. 2 weeks later I went into the store in person to see the manager and was told he would get back to me the following week. I said I wanted it sorted today and he said that's not how furniture shops work. That he can't issue refunds even though he's the manager. Beware if you shop here that communication is impossible and they will make a refund difficult. I plan to get in touch with citizens advice.

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE!

I purchased a rather expensive dining table from Harrison’s in November. (It’s now almost June.) I was given an approximate 6 week delivery schedule with a promise of trying to get it to me before Christmas. The table did not arrive before Christmas, but I was okay with this.

January – 9 weeks later – After hearing nothing from Harrison’s, I called the store to check on the delivery status to be told that someone would call me back. They never did.

January – 10 weeks later – I called the store again. Again, I was promised a phone call back. No one called. (This is the start of a long pattern of broken promises about returning phone calls.)

February – 12 weeks later – Again I called. Again, I was promised a phone call. Again, they didn’t return my call.

February – 13 weeks later – Phoned and asked to speak to the manager. He apologised and told me he would look into the matter and phone me the next day. He lied. He didn’t call.

February – 14 weeks later – I left a message asking the manager to call me back. He didn’t.

March – 16 weeks later – I went into the store. I spoke to the Useless Manager and explained the situation. He was in no way sympathetic or apologetic and told me the store had been busy. However, he promised to chase up the manufacturer and get back to me the following day. He didn’t! He lied yet again!

March – 18 weeks later – After hearing nothing from them, I called the store to request a refund for the dining table. After a lengthy discussion where I felt I was fighting to get my money back, I was told this would be done.

April - 21 weeks later. No refund received. Again, I went into the store. Spoke to a young girl but again I had to go through the whole story and explain the situation. She told me she was not authorised to process refunds but would tell Useless Manager the following day and make sure that this was sorted for me. Guess what… Useless Manager did not call! No refund received!

May – 24 weeks later – After finally managing to reach Useless Manager on the phone, he told me the refund had not been processed as the ‘return’ (of an item we have not received) is past the store’s 28 day return window!!! I have never heard such nonsense in my life!

We are now having to take Harrison’s to the small claims court. Their customer service is appalling and the fact we have paid almost £600 for a dining table that has never arrived has us completely flabbergasted as to why they are refusing to return our money. As I said at the start, this business is run by THIEVES!

(Also – please ignore all of the false 5-star reviews for chairs that Harrison’s have had their family members leave here.)

The only advice I would give is AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Bought and paid for a new mattress 3 months ago, excuse after excuse, no communication, it was always someone else's
fault, ended up with different mattress than we bought and certain it was ex display, would stay well clear of this shop, does not deserve one star, be warned
