Excellent fish and chips. The buffet looked tempting, but I was too late. Next time I visit Arbroath, I will check it out.

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious sharing platter for 2. So tasty, lots of it, so much we took enough home for our tea tomorrow! Excellent service. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

How do they manage it?! The food is amazing, service really good and the price is reasonable. Everyone there works hard and keeps busy. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the menu choices are plentiful and it's always a pleasurable experience at the Bell Rock. Also, their milkshakes are bleedin incredible!!

Our hostess was Ms. Taylor, very friendly service and she took the time to explain each dish in detail and showed no impatience in doing so. Friendly service by Ms. Shalu as well.

Our order was lentil soup, onion rings, bread and butter, masala fish. Flavorful masala coated on the fish and grilled to perfection. Very good fish and exceptional onion rings. Thick and soothing lentil soup.

Halal options if asked, food will be cooked in separate pan.

You have to try the Bellrock Smokie. Absolutely amazing smokey flavour. Loved the honest cafeteria style atmosphere in the place. No pretention whatsoever. Onion rings were extremely crispy and tasty as well. Highly recommended.

1 x fish supper & 1 white pudding supper. Both excellent, crispy batter, big very tasty fish. Service was bit slow but they were quite busy. Would definitely go back

Arrived late for lunch but in time for buffet lunch. All you can eat with soup, then lots to choose from mains, then selection of puddings. Well worth visiting only 9.99 then add cost of drinks. Will be going back

Great gluten free fish and chips, gluten free smoked sausage supper. Hubby had chicken curry and says it was fab. Will go back on our next visit

We periodically travel up from Fife to our favourite chippy. It's spoiled all other chip shops for us. We always go for the battered smokie supper with some extra sides. Smoked fish battered, unreal! Nice friendly atmosphere, no frills, just what you want from a chippy.

Fantastic place! Great customer service and very friendly staff, following all the government guidelines. The food is always freshly made and it's so delicious. Definitely recommend 👌

Been there for the third time. The first two times the customer service was not that good. The waitresses staring at me for no reason. They were kinda rushing to take the orders and not communicative at all.
The last time the customer service was amazing. Each one of the waitresses were very friendly and they kept taking care of us.
But the most important thing is the FISH.
every time was amazing and well cooked.
I haven't tried smoke in another resuatrsng to be honest but I don't hunk I have too.
I change my star rating from 3 to 5 and I am hoping the customer service level will not fall down again

A quaint restaurant near the harbour off the A92. Delicious food. Special senior menu includes a 3 course meal for 15.99 pounds. Menu has a variety of items to choose from. Food is reasonably priced. Children menu available. Free parking is available.

One of the best fish n chips (and curry sauce) i ever had. Not too greasy and fried to perfection. Ate along with onion rings, delicious honemade coleslaw and the original smokie - which is far better tried locally than over in Glasgow - absolutely delicious. Enjoyed every bit and well worth the need to undo the button on my jeans after all that.

An extremely good menu for a fish and chip restaurant with entire sections for vegan, low gluten and halal meals as well as specific menus for children and OAPs - all for very reasonable prices. Good, fast service and lovely milkshakes too.

Good food, great service, pleasant view at the seaside. Both take away and sitting in.

Yesterday my Daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandson's (aged 11,8,8) went for the buffet lunch. There was a large selection of different foods, which were freshly cooked and replenished as soon as the container was empty.
I mentioned my Grandson's ages because they were able to go up to the Buffet by themselves and get their own plates filled. (You can see the actual buffet from every table in the Restaurant) It gives them that little bit of independence 😊, plus the adults didn't have to leave their food to get the boy's fed, Win-win all round. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍.
