The Perfume Shop Inverness

We had a rare trip into Eastgate Centre Inverness today.
We were looking for specific birthday presents, and maybe a few surprises.. Boots was our first port of call, we were waiting at the fragrance department for quite some time, before I approached an assistant for some help and advice....
I was disappointed that the item in question was out of stock, there were other options however, we decided as the lady must have been tired, it was nearing the end of the day.. so we chose not to purchase anything..
On going around the corner, the young lady in the shop smiled as we passed, it too sold perfume, ...
We were pleasantly surprised, she offered a selection of sizes, and explained to us the benefits of eau de parfum as opposed to the other,
Her product knowledge was amazing, and you could tell she knew her stuff. We went onto talk to her regarding perfume for teenagers, daughter too has a birthday soon.. I also had a nearly empty bottle of my go to perfume.. this is where the fun begins, after her allowing us to sample most of the best sellers, such a selection, I just couldn't decide, buying for somone else is difficult when this offer came about, that we could purchase a samlple 10 ml of any fragrance for £10 along with travalo fragrance capsule. This solved the dilemma, so we purchased two 10 ml samples to try.
The customer service was excellent, although Harriet had not been working there long, I asked how she knew so much? Through Ann, her senior assistant and obviously her trainer and mentor.. well done Ann, this young lady is a credit to you!!
We left feeling great, with the same product we set out to buy, £25 cheaper than the previous store, along with more unexpected purchases, thats what it's all about....
Well done Ann and Harriet, The Perfume Shop are so lucky to have you ladies!!

Will give it 5 stars as i visited shop on my birthday 2nd January and the staff member on was awesome and so helpful but a huge disappointment with lack of sale items or decent prices ... Used The Perfume shop allover and i found this my worse shopping experience for a decent product at a good price .. Like many I went online when back at my hotel and bought what i wanted from a competitor much cheaper ...

After a previous bad experience at this store, I can say that my faith has been restored getting EXCELLENT customer service and assistance from Louise....Thank you.

Nice and understanding staff, a rather small collection but for the size is good.

If you order online you have the ability to collect from your local store after 30 minutes when stock levels dictate. This is exactly what I did. After paying, I went to my local store in Inverness 3 hours later (25/08/22) to be told by the supervisor on duty that it needs to be ordered in to their branch and I’ll be notified when it’s delivered to the shop (she did this without checking my order on her computer and despite there being at least 6 bottles of the product on the shelf behind her). After me informing them that my order specifically stated my product was in stock and that I was able to collect same day, the gentleman serving kindly checked the computer system and confirmed what I was saying, he turned to the supervisor and said he’s quite right it says collect from the store same date. She shrugged her shoulders and replied “Make his order up then but make sure that you take his name and address and order number then cos when the replacement comes into store we’ll need to replace the one off the shelf”. Absolutely terrible customer service at the Inverness branch at Eastgate Centre. 1 product purchased for £124, will go elsewhere next time. Avoid.
