Belton Garden Centre

Visited the garden centre yesterday for a walk around and to buy some fish. Always a good time out.

As always we went for lunch and as always the restaurant was busy however, busier than normal (full) with a lot of people waiting to be seated.

Greeted by a very pleasant young man dealing with the customer numbers very professionally.

Food and drink ordered, I sat at my table opposite the kitchen pass able to see the kitchen team at work.

As a chef with over 40 years experience both military and civilian it was great to see a brigade of chefs taking pride in what they were doing from how they were dressed (nice to see hats worn for a change) to the stand of food being produced.

All in the kitchen worked calmly, had great communication with each other and the front of house team.

As previously mentioned a very busy time, this said the wait for our food was no more than 20 minutes, and drinks within 5. Fast service with everyone helping out including chefs trying up orders and the garden centre team clearing tables.

We had a great meal and an all round fantastic visit.

I spoke with Sarah the Head Chef complimenting her running of the kitchen and the teams professionalism, standards and the quality of the meal we had just eaten.

I highly recommend others to visit and see for themselves the overall experience that Belton Garden Centre offers.

Beautiful place to look for all your garden tools and needs, great okay area for the kids also which is located near the restaurant at the right hand side of the entrance, beautiful fish on display too, one place to take the kids and have a challenge to see if they can spot the big white fish! Great way to keep them occupied!

Great place to visit for all your gardening needs. Two cafes, a children's playground and a dog house where you can sit and eat in the warm with the dogs. We were lucky that we had it to ourselves and all 3 dogs plus the children had free rein! Lots of outdoor seating too for sunnier days.
The shop obviously sells garden stuff, plants, dog food and toys and a whole load more.

Popped in for some lunch in the very nice restaurant/cafe towards the rear of the garden centre. All very clean throughout from the car park to the table staff were friendly and helpful And are a credit to the place. Food was fantastic, great service and high grade quality of produce in the meal. Would highly recommend. I did also see an ice cream parlour which we will be diving into next time 🙌 and on the way out, we got to see the beautiful peacocks and other birds on display. Dog friendly as we had out cocker with us. Thanks guys see you again soon

It was much bigger than I thought. Excellent choice of things in the garden centre and had a lovely, reasonably priced meal in the restaurant. Would definitely go again when l have more time to look round the garden centre.

I came in looking forward to a hot chocolate today with my mother and my 16 month old son. We enjoyed, as always a lovely cake and a chat in the comfy restaurant! All was well until I picked up my son and he donkey kicked my hot chocolate everywhere!! Mortified, a young waitress came over straight away with no fuss and chatted to us while she cleared the mess away. I work in hospitality, so I was even more embarrassed that we’d been those people over a busy lunch rush!! I didn’t catch her name, but thank you for making an incredibly embarrassing moment less mortifying!!

Very well managed Garden Center, with excellent quality plants at very competitive pricing.
Try the Ice House restaurant for good food freshly prepared.
Already planning a return trip as soon as we can........

Very large area, conveniently close to our accommodation. Cafe was nothing short of amazing! Great selection of food and drinks. Also a large assortment of fish in their aquarium.

My first visit. Lovely food in the restaurant and great service. Found lots of things to buy that I didn't realise I needed too. Will definitely visit again

Was lovely, very Christmassy the grand kids loved the lights and decorations. Not very disabled friendly as on a mobility scooter I struggled to get round the displays and actually broke a tree ornament as I clipped it going past (shhhhh)

What a lovely spacious garden centre. Such a good selection of garden furniture and all things gardening. They also have clothes, childrens books and toys, cakes and bread etc. The best bit for the children was the stingray in the aquatic centre. Very interesting. Would definitely call again. Maybe have a cuppa in the cafe next time.

Nice little cafe located inside. Good range of products. The peacocks are really nice to see at the entrance.

Had a lovely couple of hours here, mooching at the things for sale and then having a cracking afternoon tea. Zero problems on access, disabled toilets and parking, assistance was offered by staff to carry my tray. Nice to see plenty of room around the displays to navigate my chair. Dog friendly!!

Such a lovely local family run garden centre, a wide choice of gifts, plants, garden furniture etc plus an excellent restaurant and ice cream parlour. 🥓🍔🍗🥗🥙🥪🥪🍕

Excellent welcome as we walked through the door from the guy who took our order and super full English breakfast.

Fabulous place to meet for coffee. Great food and service. Many tempting gifts and Christmas decorations.
