Bellmount Tower

If you like a good walk this is the perfect place, if you park in the small carpark at the bottom of the hill on 5 gates, it's quite a steep climb up to the tower, but offers some great views down to Belton house, and across Grantham to the left. There are woods behind the tower which you can walk through also, and loads of space on the field around for walking and for dogs to run.

Stunning views, you can walk for miles through fields and the woods.

Always thought this was a water tower, but after visiting and looking it up was surprised if it's purpose. Very muddy walk so be prepared in bad weather. Coming back down to the cat park I wiped out in the mud! 🤣

Stunning place to go for a stroll with plenty of trails to choose, excellent for dog walkers even with some designated areas for off leash walkies. Stunning sunset from the Tower.

A beautiful place to go for a walk and to get lost in the forest, and to explore all the wonderful wildlife inside too, it is a great place to take all ages of children to visit, as they can immerse themselves with sticks leaves and potentially build a den with them also. It is also a great way to disconnect from everything on the outside world, as you will be fully immersed by the beautiful walk around no matter the weather, my only advice for this place is to bring some wellies, get ready for the hill climb up to the tower and leave your phone in the car, and enjoy the breeze.

Stunning views from the top bit of a trek to get up there, you can see Belton House, Grantham and the surrounding countryside. The sunsets are stunning on a beautiful Autumn evening, there is plenty of room for kids to run around and take the dog for a walk.

Quite a climb up to the tower but lovely views over the Belton House estate and Grantham. Also nice walks through the woods behind the tower that go round in a nice loop, for the most part these are fairly level and easy to navigate.

The walk up the hill is worth it for the views ...you can why it was built where it was, there's extended walks through woodland...

It's an old Water Tower what else can you say, lovely place to go for a run or a walk with a dog and a lovely view to boot
