We walked there from a local village. Muddy boots- 2 families of 4. Booked first.
Really friendly reception. Fantastic food. Posh restruant vibe with acceptance of walking gear and kids. They're good with dogs too. Food and beer and hospitality was spot on !!!

Beautiful period hotel in stunning countryside setting.
Travelling with our son who has autism can be difficult but all staff were really welcoming and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. Special mention for Heather for email support before our visit, Simon for making us feel so welcome, Mike our evening waiter, Jack the barman and our breakfast waiter whose name we didn't catch. All really listened to our special requests for our son and made sure his needs were met.
We were advised to book for our evening meal and even though it was a Thursday evening in May it was quite busy.
The food was excellent.
Would highly recommend

This was my 5th stay, which has to say something on its own. The staff are great friendly and helpful as always, the food is great as is the beer, at a reasonable price. Proper good breakfast. Looking forward to my next stay.

We had a few trips to the Marton arms whilst staying at a local campsite. They welcome muddy boots and soggy dogs! We were in biking gear when we had a drink. Staff attentive. Prices fair. We also went for Sunday breakfast which was lovely and great value at £15 each. The homemade granola was gorgeous. Full English had everything. I think you should book for breakfast as only limited time and numbers. Worth it.

Excellent 2 night stay in May at the Marton Arms as a base for mid-week 3 Peaks hike.
2 pals in the Dales with boots made for walking feasted on delicious dinners and breakfast with great ales to match. What really stood out was the quality of staff and the friendly, flexible service they all provided.

Food was delicious with a great variety of choice. The biggest Yorkshire pudding I have ever seen! Service was top notch. So lovely to have received a posy of flowers for Mothers day. It was a very special meal with the family. Thank you to all the staff for being wonderful!

We are very blessed to have this pub as our local. The staff are always friendly and welcoming... even with our dog! :)

Loved our visit and will definitely return.

The food was very very good, beef shin suet pudding was amazing. Crème brûlée was incredible. While on a Yorkshire Three Peaks weekend we booked on the Friday night and it so good we went back on the Saturday night. Service and food both top notch.

If you’re debating where to eat in the area: definitely choose this place!
I went for dinner this evening, and was pleasantly surprised with one of the best meals I’ve had for a year or two. Tonight was the night I experienced the first Venison Wellington to beat my previous favourite from 8 years ago.
Whoever created the menu and cooked the food deserves an award. The starter alone was to die for. My partner and I shared a Goats Cheese and Beetroot Cheesecake with Beetroot Sorbet & Smoked Haddock Sausage Roll with Dill Mayonnaise.

The decor and dining experience is cosy and well thought through down to the quality cutlery and cloth napkins. The wine list and bar is very well stocked and the service is super friendly, helpful, attentive and professional!

Eat at this establishment if you want a meal to remember!

I went with my two grown up children. The family room for us, was ideal for our one night stay. The price was just right for dinner, bed & breakfast. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent. We enjoyed the cosy, relaxed atmosphere and the off the main track location. We will definitely return!

Excellent service. Very friendly. Food good though 1 dish over seasoned, but they really wanted feedback so don't expect that will happen too often

Had a fantastic meal here, it was stashing it down so drove the motorhome here and was able to park it in the back car park. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and food is superb, had my soggy dog with me whom was also very welcome, recommend a stop here if you are in Ingleton

Sensational food and drinks.
Went 3 times, twice for drinks and once for food. Service was excellent all 3 times.

Small place that seems to be predominantly food orientated as all the tables were reserved

We will definitely return next time we are up this way

We are staying Thornbrook Barn caravan site, Ingleton, which really is 6*. This pub is about a 10min walk down a peaceful country lane, just off the campsite.

This pub is fabulous, the staff are excellent, very knowledgeable about the food, wine and location. The really great pubs don't mind what the customer orders, they just want to look after you, this pub does this without reservation.

I had the cheese board (3xfantastic cheeses) with really good biscuits, to be honest the cheese's stand well on their own, but the garlic biscuit went fantastically well with the goats cheese, the blue I loved with the beetroot (not sure but lovely) coloured biscuit, and the cheddar, well as we all know this goes with anything. My partner had the lamb croquettes with mint riaita, now these were absolutely fantastic, the lamb was shredded, not minced not sure what I'm getting meat, truly divine (I don't eat lamb these are the words of my partner) we come from Gower salt marsh lamb country so believe me this is high praise indeed.

This establishment holds very good wine, I had the Argentinian Malbec, and my partner the Pinot Grigio, very good wines. The owner has a very good palate, a great pub is also measured on the quality of their wine, top notch.

In addition to loving great wine, I love great coffee. If there was any element I would improve, it would be the coffee. It was not rich dark and smooth, just not for me...

If you get the chance to go here please don't miss it, lovely food, drink, staff and the surroundings, well absolutely amazing.

The pub has a coat of arms "dieu et ma patrie' (1679) carved in stone at the top if the entrance, the translation could be 'God and my Homeland'.

Came in for Sunday lunch. Beautiful pub and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and most of the menu was or could be made gluten free.

Well, this place is just delightful, just ate dinner, didn't stay over... there's not much more to say, I'll be returning. Many times. Do book because the town gets busy!

Incredible Sunday roast - we had the beef and the venison wellington, just mind-bogglingly delicious and a beautifully design menu. The goat's cheese and beetroot cheesecake starter with beetroot Ice cream was innovative and a good sign of what was to come too.
