Country Harvest

We visited Country Harvest on our way up to Scotland from Yorkshire, we’re so glad we chose CH for our pit stop! It has a lovely little cafe with beautiful views over the countryside at the back, a shop with loads of things to choose from starting with fresh meat and veg, gifts, posh chocolates and everything you’d find in a upscale farm shop.

The whole shop also smells delightful with various fragrances, candles etc for sale.

The food in the cafe was really tasty and very fresh. The chips are sooo good! All the staff were helpful and friendly, but there was a short wait to be seated as they were busy (it was a Sunday).

If you’re in the area, I would recommend coming here! We will definitely visit the next time we’re in the neighbourhood.

Stopped for lunch and it was excellent! The manager was very thoughtful and placed us on a big table to accommodate our pushchair. Food and service were great.

We bought a couple of bits from the buchers, the young girl behind the country was very friendly.

This is a great place to stop off when travelling on the A65. The staff were friendly and the Christmas shop was nice. The main farm shop is well stocked with some nice baked goods like scones. We ate in the cafe also. There was only a short wait to be shown to a table. I'd recommend the toasties, plenty of flavour, and a good choice of fillings with a nice side salad. It's great to see a cafetiere offered. The coffee was very good

Second time we've been now, first time was roughly a year ago. We enjoyed our first visit, so thought we would call again. We wasn't disappointed on this visit either.
Restaurant is nice and light,and clean. Good choice on menu. I had the burger, and it was very nice, well presented and very tasty. My wife had quiche and again looked nice and she enjoyed it. Cakes to tempt you. The staff was very nice and friendly.
The farm shop part is well stocked, with the usual farm shop fare, but well presented and good quality. Meat, and vegetables all looked very nice.
Good access and good carpark.
Definitely worth a visit.

Called in on a sunday, at about 11.25, so missed breakfast, 😮‍💨... however we had a ham, cheese and mushroom toastie which was super,super tasty followed by a cake, again fabulous cakes on offer..
All the staff were very pleasant, polite, efficient and super attentive.. overal great place, will certainly return...

Just been to country harvest for lunch we love it here staff and food plus service excellent. I love the cheese pie and scones. We regularly make the 3 hour round trip to visit.

One of the best farm shops i have ever been to.

With an amazing butchers with a huge selection of meats and meals to select from. A huge selection of various foods from sweets. Baked goods. Coffees. Tea. Clothes. Homeware and an amazing cafe all at a great price

Very nice food. The chicken and ham pie was delicious. The meal was well presented and was served within 10 mins of ordering. Would recommend.

The shop is great and has a wide range of goods and foodstuffs - some quality products available. The cafe/restaurant is also nice and it's generally a great stop on your way either to or from the Lake District.

The food that we purchased here was lovely. The gift shop was tastefully laid out and prices weren't extortionate.

Amazing butchers. Bought all our Easter weekend BBQ meat and bread from here. It was outstanding. There's a lovely looking cafe here with amazing views of the countryside but didn't have time to eat there

Lovely food in restaurant,friendly staff too.
Farm shop great choice and competitive pricing.
Gift shop has that little something different.
The Christmas cabin is a young and old delight.
Don't forget to post letters to Santa,and have your photos taken on the bench!

Broke my journey from Flookburgh to Belper at Country Harvest. Lovely food, excellent service, even though we've only just come out of Lockdown! Spent too much money in the shop but some really nice gifts in there. You can keep the M6, I'll fool my satnav into coming this way again!

Good food hall and ladies and gents clothing. Super cafe and lovely ambience. Sensibly priced. Plenty parking.

Great range of local produce, a busy eatery & interesting shop; worth a visit if passing this way.

Really good breakfast with all nicely sourced well cooked fare. Black pudding slice was particularly nice and staff were accommodating, efficient and tolerant of our large group when it descended. In contrast to previous reviewer I thought the price very reasonable for the quality in these times and would recommend a visit.
