Fantastic service from Ian and Tom. Couldn't do enough for me when purchasing a new bike from them. Got it ready as quickly as possible with no pressure during any of the process. Well worth stopping in or buying online to help support this great shop.

Great service from Ian And Tom. Helped me tones in purchasing my first new bike and with all my questions, very knowledgeable, and also didn't judge me like some other bike shops for not knowing much (also throwing in a dropper post for free ;) ).
Gave me a great recommendation for my bike and also for local cafes to have breakfast whilst they serviced it.
I'm sure I will be visiting again for all my bike needs XD.

Great shop. Good advice, sourced the bike I wanted at a competitive price. I’m a small , experienced female cyclist and have had very mixed advice from other bike shops. Absolutely not here… Ian spent lots of time with me, great advice, patient, good after sales support. Loads of bikes in store. Thoroughly recommended.

Tom and Ian run a first class business and are consummate professionals. Fantastic personable skills with a breadth of knowledge on bikes, products and consumables. Very knowledgeable and friendly service from Escape. Had a couple of bikes from them and been spot on both times. Recently ordered some trousers and was unsure of the size, spoke to Ian and helped me get the correct size. Highly recommend dealing with these guys.

I was in a bit of an urgent situation with an incorrect (my fault) BB ordered from another store so upon finding what I thought was the correct one in stock at Escape I called and spoke to Ian who was extremely helpful putting me through to a mechanic who was equally helpful checking my specs.
They also were able to sort out a speedy Special delivery from RM which meant I could take my new bike on holiday. Thanks!!

Ian and his business partner run a very good business. They fitted me in for an urgent wheel replacement late on a Saturday afternoon in April whist I was on a 200+ mile trek. Great customer service.
Good advice, great products, stylish well stocked shop and workshop. Will visit again next time I head North.

Called into the shop on Saturday with a specific e-bike in mind. I have used an E-bike since 2019, but never been happy with my choice.
Ian asked questions, to determine what I wanted, to get out of my e-bike.
His knowledge, and sharing of this knowledge in an understandable way, ‘for novices’ is fantastic.
There was no pressure selling after explaining and giving me facts and choices to consider, which E-bike would be best for my needs.

On a Charity ride this morning I had to call here as id a snapped gear cable. The 2 gents working couldn't of been more helpful & sorted it while I waited. Would definitely recommend this shop. Many thanks again guys, much appreciated for your help at short notice

Choosing a bike for a teenage mountain biker is always an interesting exercise. Ian provide solid advice, and options making the decision much easier.

The bike was built, customised and invisiframed before delivery and arrive in time for Christmas well packaged and as expected.

Was after a specific bike which was generally unavailable and saw the right size advertised online with Escape. Was nervous at first because I had not heard of them and they were a long way away but a couple of phone calls put my mind at rest. Very efficient and friendly and clearly know their stuff. Would definitely recommend

Ian was super helpful throughout the process of sourcing a Chameleon Carbon frame for me, from the initial sizing queries through to keeping me updated on the order process (which was delayed due to Covid at the Santa Cruz end!)

It was great to get input and advice from someone who has actually had first hand experience building the frame you are looking at so would definitely recommend getting in touch if you are after any Santa Cruz kit.

Fantastic customer service, highly recommend Escape Bikes.
Whilst in the Yorkshire Dales my bike developed some serious gear shifting issues. One phone call and 45 mins later, all had been resolved. I was also given some great advice.

We had to make a slight detour to pick up some essentials. The two guys there were very helpful and personable. Not always the case when 3 middle aged blokes turn up and don’t even know what size inner tube they need. Great service and a well stocked shop in the heart of some amazing riding country. Thanks. PS The Trek MTB my mate was riding was bought in 1998 and not 1997 as he insisted. He’ll have to bring it with him again next year to celebrate its 21st.
